When not crafting snarky profiles for online dating websites, I earn my living undermining the passive reading habits of Princeton undergrads. Yes, I live in New Jersey. Nevertheless, I do spend all of my free time in the city, where I often delight in turning the other cheek whenever my home state is unjustly maligned. Other cherished if less geographically specific pastimes of mine include drinking good whiskey, writing fiction, supporting independent bookstores, crashing art shows, and running marathons (Golden Girls marathons, that is). Currently, I seek someone with the wit of a thousand Dorothy Zbornaks who would be up for playing Six Degrees of Francis Bacon with me at the MoMA, though eating cheesecake with me in the park would be equally acceptable.

I am a doctoral candidate in English literature. I teach and do research in modern and contemporary British and American fiction, as well as gender and queer studies.
