Hello, I'm Tim. These things are always a little awkward for me. I'm a bit of a nerd, though the test says I'm a dork. I am looking for a long lasting relationship.

About Me: I am a computer tech, I work on a help desk for a group of hospitals. Most of the time you can find me at home or at work. I live with 2 of my best friends in a small town house in Newark. I'm pretty laid back and usually up for anything. I play a lot of video games, board games and card games. I love horror, sci-fi, fantasy, action and anime; Michael Bay and the Mythbusters have a great knack for story-telling, its not over till something goes boom. I read a lot; I have around 100 or so book. I've read almost all of them. A large portion of the books are fantasy/horror (ex. Anita Blake, Dresden files, Dark Tower, and Women of the Other World.) but I have several mystery type novels too (ex. James Patterson and Robert Ludlum.) I have what some might call a slightly disturbed sense of humor; ie. most horror movie death scenes are funny, especially the more you watch them. I'm the type of guy who thought the end of Cujo was sad (after all what did he ever do to anyone.) My friends and I have a very off color sense of humor. We tend to use mostly self deprecating humor on one another.

What I'm looking for: Someone who is loving, sweet and open. Someone who shares some of my interests and wants me to share in some of theirs. I am a big guy so the person I am looking for would have to be ok with that. Someone who likes staying in and cuddling on rainy days or going out and bowling or playing pool or just hanging out with friends. Someone with a good (maybe a little disturbed) sense of humor. Someone without kids, sorry Im not ready for kids just yet, maybe someday.

I'm working overnights for a computer help desk. Sometimes its harder than you think not to laugh at some of the questions I get asked.

When I'm not at work I relax as much as possible. I play video games and read as much as possible. Right now I'm playing Prototype; My favorites are the Final Fantasy series, Bioshock (can't wait for the next one) and anything else with a good story or a good first person shooter.

I'm reading the first book of the Wheel of Time series at the moment. I just finished the most recent Anita Blake book a couple of weeks ago. I have a few more series to catch up on like the Dark Tower, Mercy Thompson and Sword of Truth.

I try to stay up to date with a few different anime series, mainly Bleach and Naruto. I play magic the gathering with my friends. I like making weird and silly decks. Every so often joining a monthly poker game.

I am walking, working out and watching what I eat. I'm trying to get into a shape other than round.

I'm pretty good at poker, not professional or anything close to it but I hold my own. I like pool, mini-golf and bowling though I'm not all that great but I try. I'm not bad at magic. I'm pretty good at fixing computers. Probably the thing I'm best at is procrastinating. I do manage to get what I need to done on time but I tend to put it off at the beginning.

My quiet yet friendly personality. I tend to talk more to people when I know them better.

Books: Anything by Laurell K. Hamilton (Anita Blake Series), Stephen King (The Stand is one of my all time favorite books, Dark Tower), James Patterson (Angel Experiment, Alex Cross), Robert Ludlum (Jason Bourne) or Jim Butcher (Dresden Files, Codex Alera). I have started to get into Terry Goodkin (Sword of Truth), Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time) and Patricia Briggs (Mercy Thompson). I usually read scifi and fantasy books. I have a decent library, maybe 50-100 books. I do have quite a few books that are next in line.

Movies: I like just about any type of movie. Some of my favorites are Boondock Saints, Braveheart, Hellraiser, Chronicles of Riddick, The Stand, The One, Jason X, Nightmare on Elm Street 5 (cause who doesnt like the idea of becoming a superhero for real, even if it is just a dream), Akira, Kungfu Panda (Yay! the fat guy is finally an action hero) Role Models, Serenity, Shoot Em Up, anything Kevin Smith and anything explosions by Michael Bay.

TV: Good story, decent acting and a little mystery are everything unless its a comedy. The Shield, Rescue Me, Sons of Anarchy, Heroes, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Hell's Kitchen (yeah I know reality doesn't really have the story but its still good), CSI (Las Vegas though its not the same without Grissom), NCIS (Mark Hamill is the bomb in Summer School) Dexter and Weeds. I also watch Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad, Adult Swim, almost any cooking/food show and just about any anime I can watch.

Comedians: I love Robin Williams, George Carlin, Gabriel Iglesias, Ralphie May, Lisa Lampanelli, Richard Pryor, Jeff Dunham, Lewis Black, Bob Sagat and to a point the Blue Collar Comedy Tour guys.

Music: I prefer rock and heavy metal but I can listen to just about anything. Some of my favories are Sevendust (Enemy, Waffle), Metallica(One, Unforgiven), Killswitch Engage (Holy Diver, ), Shinedown(.45, Heroes), Powerman 5000(Drop the Bombshell, Tonight the Stars Revolt), Rob Zombie(Superbeast, Spookshow Baby), Kittie (Brackis), Drop Kick Murphys (Shipping off to Boston) and Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody, Fat Bottomed Girls)

Food: I like cooking simple and slightly complex dishes. I like most kinds of foods, asian cuisine and steaks are my current favorites though. Unfortunately I'm allergic to shellfish, though it used to be a favorite. At the moment i stick mainly to chicken and fish since I'm trying to eat better.

Nothing in particular for the most part. I do try to think about the studying that I'm doing and what's going on with my friends but then I just let my mind wonder and think about nothing in particular (it releases a lot of stress this way.)

I'm a little camera shy; it doesn't really scare me to have my picture taken, I'm just not a big fan of being on film, no real reason.
