Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Disclaimer: Currently sporting a winter beard. It's kempt, but
thick. It's pretty intimidating.
I'm reasonably certain I will always live in a city, I am also
reasonably certain it won't always be this one. Not sure how many
winters I have left in me.
I will also always have a beard of some sort.
I've been a vegetarian for a long time now. It's something that is
important to me, but I'm not particular about what you do or don't
eat. But, if you are vegetarian, let's hang out.
I have a tattoo, it's ee cummings, I'll buy you a drink if you can
guess what it says. No one's got it yet. Planning more
I also drink water to the point where cell degeneration is a
legitimate concern of mine.
Very ENTP, if that means anything to you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a small, non-profit TV studio. Basically, I'm in charge
of finding quality programs for air, I watch a lot of independent
documentaries. Not a complaint. I rarely feel like I'm at
Graphic/Web Design on the side.
hopefully going somewhere warm soon.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Grammar and when to ignore it. Everything is on purpose.
Being sarcastic without the person I'm talking to realizing it,
unless I want them to.
Meaningless analysis of everyday minutia, Amateur Psychology,
subtext and non-verbal communication. (or maybe I just watched too
much Seinfeld in my formative years)
Drinking kombucha (that stuff is magic).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: I'd like to see as many 60's and 70's movies on the big
screen as I possibly can. But I will see anything in the theater.
The Graduate, Manhattan, Buffalo '66, Network, Glengarry Glen Ross
if I'm being pretentious but Wet Hot American Summer and Dumb and
Dumber are probably actually my favorite movies.
Books: Ernest Hemingway is a personal hero, e e cummings, James
Joyce, Kurt Vonnegut, Michael Pollan, Howard Zinn, Chuck
Klosterman, Glenn Greenwald, John Updike. Many more. I'm always
reading and am usually in the middle of about 5 books.
Music: Everything, I often wonder if the vastness of spotify has
actually diversified my listening tendencies...anyways, too
much/too complicated to make a list. Talent transcends genre.
Food: Things that came out of the ground.
Also, Louis CK is pretty much a genius, his show is possibly my
favorite thing I've seen on TV, ever. It's also quite possible that
The Simpsons had a greater impact on my personality than my parents
did. And The Thick of It.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Garlic, a good hooded sweatshirt, Woody Allen, Gill Sans, dark
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Perfect sentences and starting an herb garden.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Anyone's guess, really.
Lately there's been an equal chance that I'm at a dive or in
playing a complex X-Files centric drinking game with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to have a TV show, it ran for somewhere between 60-100
episodes. Not really private (in fact, I guess technically it was
the opposite of private) I've also acted in a few movies, write
for/co-star in an annual comedy short film compilation project, and
a few other things. I do not consider myself an actor, nor should
you be impressed by any of this. All of these projects can be found
online, I may even show you where.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are not perfect, appreciate nuance and you don't care much for
Snapchat, if you'd rather: antgaimari.
I am progressive enough to enjoy getting hit on by a lady and tend
to really enjoy my experiences with girls who message first.
Whatever that means.
