My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm into wry humor, funky music, and soft pretzels. I'm one for headed out to a movie or trying a new restaurant, but I've also been known to stay in and lounge -- not to worry, I'm not very territorial with the TV remote.

I'm a comedy writer, but among other activities, I play golf, I read, play bass, bowl, shoot pool, go out, stay in, breathe, etc. Ask me stuff, I'll answer.

In general, I'm looking for someone with whom I can share the deepest, most introspective and philosophical conversations. I'm also looking for someone who's comfortable discussing the finer points of a fart joke. I'm kinda looking for it all, so to speak.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a Tutorial Supervisor at a local college and a screenwriter. I primarily write comedy.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm the guy all my friends come to for advice. I'm good at seeing the big picture and adding a necessary amount of levity back into drastic-seeming circumstances. Basically, what I'm saying is that I'm capable of listening.

I can also cook/bake. That's gotta get me some points with someone. Anybody? No?

Also, I bet I can make you laugh, and if I can't, then you're no fun. What's your deal, anyway?
The first things people usually notice about me

It's more fun to discuss this stuff in person. I know, total cop-out by me. This isn't an indication of my laziness, but if you're going to base your decision to talk to me on whether or not I love "The Notebook" then we probably wouldn't work out anyway.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Bacon again.
my brain (it has all the stuff I know in it)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My writing, my future, my friends, jokes--way too much time. Please distract me?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Grabbing a beer with some friends or catching a movie. I like to hear the conversation, so we usually won't be found in clubs. Also, it's dangerously easy to convince me to stay in with a movie or three.

Sorry about the love to go out but also stay in cliche. I would much prefer to stroll around and star gaze on a crisp Friday evening than stand shoulder to shoulder with the bar crowd. I'm flexible though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm shy when we first talk or meet, but I quickly warm up. Also, I never know what I want to eat for dinner.

You say "no games" and mean it as much as humanly possible.

You appreciate gentlemen.

You sometimes will have candy for me in your purse.

Other than that, you're looking to have fun and meet a new person.
