My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm never sure what exactly I should write about myself, so here are a few things I believe, practice, and enjoy.

- I treat my partner with respect and consider their happiness and well-being tantamount to my own.

- Being polite and well-mannered are everyday habits and being a gentleman is a sign of respect not chauvinism.

- I generally enjoy staying in with my partner rather than going out to a bar/club.

- Being intimate does not necessarily mean having intercourse, it can be as simple as sharing our thoughts/feelings while cuddled on the couch.

- I am not afraid of intimacy, either physical or emotional. I also find nothing frightening about commitment.

- I think that physical attraction is as much a part of a relationship as open/honest communication; we cannot deny our biological nature. That being said, it's not all about physical qualities; intelligence and quick wit are sexy too.

- I love books, puzzles, games, and generally anything intellectually challenging.

- Cleanliness counts, as does grammar; though penmanship does not. ;)

If you want to know anything more about me, just ask. I would think that breaking the ice with someone online would be easy, but I find that to rarely be the case. Thanks for checking out my profile and good luck to you in your search.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just completed an Associate's degree now working to complete a Physics degree program OSU.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being a smart ass
being a loyal friend
dreaming up new ideas
sitting quietly
killing time
keeping a clean house
losing my self in thought...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not sure really. Given how quiet I am around new faces, they probably notice that first. Maybe my eyes; they have a way of shifting color, anywhere from hazel green to deep blue. I've also been told that I have an "old soul", not sure how they notice it or when.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Just a sampling - Fiction: mostly sci-fi or fantasy everything from Asimov to Weis & Hickman. Non-Fiction: Hawking, Lao Tzu, Newton, Descartes, etc. I love books in general and read a lot! (Extra Credit if you know these authors and what they've written.)

Movies: My favs tend towards the sci-fi (Bladerunner) and foreign martial arts films like Crouching Tiger and Hero. I'll watch most anything with a good story, though I seldom watch horror films.

Shows: I will happily watch a marathon of Law&Order, CSI, Firefly, Modern Marvels, or Big Bang Theory among others. I don't usually keep up with current seasons and don't have any "must watch" shows.

Music: My taste in music is pretty broad, including classical, though I'm not really a fan of rap and hip-hop. I am not one to keep up with the newest music on the market.

Food: I eat my veggies but I've gotta have my meat. I'm happiest with "comfort" food. I don't need anything fancy. I'm not opposed to trying new things but for day to day give me spaghetti, meatloaf, chili, mac & cheese, etc. but made as heathy as possible (fresh ingredients for example)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family
Friends
Books
Hot Water
Quiet Contemplation
Deep Conversation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anything and everything.
New ideas for projects.
The nature of the universe and our place in it.
Even when I'm parked in front of the TV, I'm usually watching something that makes me think.
Most Recently: Where are all the cute geeky girls that I know are out there?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not one for going out on Friday night. I don't drink much and I can't dance (born with severe "white-man syndrome") so my Fridays are either spent with friends playing games, at home watching movies, or curled up with a good book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not sure what to put here... Besides it's the internet, admitting it here means never getting it back. But if you ask about anything in particular I will probably tell you.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You ARE:
wanting to know more
thinking we might be a good match
someone looking for companionship
open to having a relationship
interested in hanging out and having fun
looking for partner to get your "geek on" with

Most definitely message me if you ARE:
a brunette with blue or green eyes, nice smile, easy laugh,
a 'natural' look, and a slender to athletic build...

What can I say, I know what physical traits I'm attracted to.
Besides, what's life without dreams? ;)
