My self-summary
I am originally from NYC, grew up in the south, and I've lived in SF on and off for the last 10 years with stints in Japan and Mexico in between. I've lived in SF longer than I've lived anywhere, so I guess I'm from SF now?

I used to work in the music industry and spent a bunch of time traveling. It was amazing and tiring. I'm enjoying being home more often, but I still get to travel a bunch.

Roadtrips, vinyl, flea markets, airplanes, bourbon, documentaries, photos, nature, camping, and burritos are all words that I like along with everyone else in San Francisco.

I used to be a stay up until the sunrise kind of person, but nowadays I'm much more of a wake up early and go to yoga kind of person.

I have a BLOG, usually it's just photos, sometimes I don't update it for months

I'm Habitually ending sentences with(dot dot dot)...
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to learn everything, trying to work less, drinking coffee, running, and reading three books at a time.

If this is the place where I talk about having a job, yep, I have one. It combines technology, music, and events.
I’m really good at
Making biscuits from scratch, punctuality, diplomacy, random trivia, forgetting peoples names, making lists, reading signs from far away
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Currently reading:
Foucault - The Archaeology of Knowledge
Davis - Into the Silence, The Great War and Everest
Roth - Human Stain

Most recent flick: Time is Illmatic

Currently listening to: Sylvan Esso

I'm more than a little bit of a music nerd.

NPR: All the time

Food: who doesn't like food? healthy things, culinary adventures, spicy stuff, burritos, fancy, authentic, rustic, etc.. and so forth...
The six things I could never do without
the smell of coffee

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking.

Whether it's about the social effects generated by the commodification of human experience, the distillation of personal identity in to a cross platform advertising profile, what songs to put on a mix I just titled "LCD Soundsystem dance party," what drives compelling visual aesthetics, or what to have for dinner.

Taking train vacations
The ways other people interpret the world
Plain and ordinary things
On a typical Friday night I am
cooking dinner and watching a movie at home, going to see a show, out with friends, in some random city doing something random. To be cliche, I think this question is typical...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That i will pretty much admit anything if you ask me.

Also, that I work for a technology company.
