I am attentive, creative, musical, intelligent, funny, athletic, but feminine.
Life is complex and it is hard to shrink into a few sentences who I am.
For many years I called Ohio home. My sons grew up, my 30 year marriage ended, and I found that when my regular life changed, I discovered a new freedom and independence. I relocated to the Pacific Northwest, purchased a green built passive solar home where I lived for seven years.
Recently, I became a grandmother and moved back to be near my family.
Being physically fit and eating healthfully is a priority. It is impossible for me not to be happy when I hear live music, view a well done film, or have to replace my athletic shoes due to wear and tear.
I have always made time to sing and play guitar;it is my anchor and sense of joy.
I embrace challenges and I don't relate to slowing down. I wake up energized and I think I represent all the women who are mature but inspired to reinvent themselves.
I recorded a CD of original songs-it's alternative folk-rock-blues. I love performing my songs and connecting with my listeners.
I truly feel that we all carry a song inside us. No matter how old I get, I will never stop listening to that song inside me.
I play tennis-and have been told that I am like my dog who keeps coming back with the ball.
I like riding my bike, a cross trainer, and I admit that buying a gel seat was a great investment.
I never leave home without a guitar pick and a capo...just in case an offer to play comes up.
One thing that has remained constant for me is my sense of humor and that I am the one that always has a bandaid or kleenex.
