My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Nicole. Originally from the Houston, Texas area; Psychology student. Planning to go to graduate school for Sociology to become a professor. I really want to teach about social activism and/or how culture and society drives popular culture.

I enjoy jogging, nature, discovering new music, going to concerts (Ask who I've seen. We can discuss it.) baking and cooking, finding new restaurants, and learning.

Right now, I just work odd jobs to pay bills, but that's why my education is so important.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Reading, working, exercising, and focusing on the future.

I can't wait to get back to school to finish up my Bachelor's degree!

(Also, looking forward to mentoring inner-city youth during the Fall.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
1) Photography.

2) Writing.
3) Learning.
4) Being silly and goofy. (I'm a huge dork.)
5) Volunteering.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My friendly, out-going nature.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I recently read Blink (I'm a HUGE fan of Malcolm Gladwell.) and the Holographic Universe. I'm now in the middle of reading Bold New World. (I feel like it's almost like Epcot in book form.) I love books about Eastern religions and strange phenomenons. Psychology, as well.

Movies:
1. The Back to the Future trilogy
2. Almost Famous
3. Lost in Translation
4. Reservoir Dogs
5. V for Vendetta

Shows: Twilight Zone, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, SNL, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, The X-Files, etc.

Music. I saw Depeche Mode in September, Built to Spill in November, and George Clinton & the Parliament Funkadelic along with Girl Talk over New Year's. I love music of all genres, especially The Beatles, Stars, and Modest Mouse. I've seen the Psychedelic Furs, U2, Duran Duran, Reel Big Fish, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Alabama Shakes, Passion Pit, The Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, and Silversun Pickups live. Recently, I saw Everclear, Live, Filter, The Presidents of the United States of America, Third Eye Blind, and Sponge for free during the Rock of Vegas: Fremont Experience in Downtown Las Vegas over the summer. Ask me about a band from the 50s-now. I'll probably know what you're talking about. Test me.

Food: I love any and all food, especially potato salad (random, especially considering I hate mayonnaise) and BBQ. (I'm a Texas girl. What can I say?)
All Mexican food. Thai food, Asian food. Anything spicy makes me happy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Music
2) Books
3) Family
4) A place where I can go work out
5) Friends
6) Travel
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the world around me, the ins and outs of the human mind, and the cyclical motions of life on many different levels.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
studying.

On Saturdays and Sundays, I'm likely at a coffee shop by myself or with friends, watching movies, or staying in with a cup of tea and reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told that I'm quite good at certain things. ;)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Make me laugh; you have my heart. I love witty, political, sarcastic, nostalgic, and/or really kitschy humor.

Also, I love goal-oriented and ambitious people. (If you are, that's a definite plus.)

I'd love to meet someone goofy/serious who enjoys deep thought, introextroversion, constant growth, and a love of nostalgia, I'd love to get to know you. Whether it's a friendship or it leads to something else, I'd love to talk to you.

Don't be nervous. Just message me. :)
