I am nice, smart, and funny.

My Self-Summary

I’m a huge fan of rollercoasters. Riding a rollercoaster is a rush just like being with the right match. I love women who have a healthy sense of adventure and a plus would be someone who would be willing to sit in front with me!

I'm PADI certified for Advanced Open Water SCUBA, and have seen some of the undersea wonders around the world, including San Diego, CA, Seattle, WA, Maui, HI, Cancun, Mexico, and Phuket and Pattaya, Thailand. Phuket and Maui are my favorites.

Professionally, I have been employed in the same industry ever since graduating college. I studied Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Penn State. Yes, I work at the "Evil Empire" (as someone else called it) again, after having worked at smaller companies for the last few years, but when the smaller companies have trouble making payroll, paying the bills takes priority.

I rarely drive my car; I mostly get around on my Harley-Davidson motorcycle. I use it to commute to and from work 5 days a week, and occasionally go on longer rides on the weekends. I have heated gear to keep me warm on chilly days. My car usually only gets used for grocery shopping trips or when I need to carry passengers.

What I’m doing with my life

Other than my regular job, I do some volunteer work for a couple different charities, and I am also a certified Motorcycle Instructor. I teach the WA State Novice Rider course, if you pass the course you qualify to get an endorsement from the State for your license to ride motorcycles. If you're thinking about learning to ride, give me a buzz! For fun I do various activities, mostly involving the outdoors. Walking/hiking, sailing, SCUBA, snowboarding, singing in the rain, long motorcycle rides. A lot of it depends on the weather.

I've been on a fitness regimen for the last year and a half. I've lost at least 95 pounds so far, and after a long plateau I'm starting to drop some serious pounds again, so my photos are a little out of date. The most recent is from May, 2009. Look for newer photos soon...

I’m really good at

Teaching, tutoring, and/or helping kids with their homework. I have a knack for taking something complicated, breaking it into simple steps, and explaining the whole process to others.

Juggling, well at least when there's no more than 4 objects to juggle, haven't mastered more than 4. But I have been able to successfully teach some pretty clumsy friends how to juggle!

Puzzles, logic and math problems, numbers, keeping financial records.

Collecting. Well, not really collecting, more like not being able to throw anything away. I have a lot of useless junk. Need to start selling some of it on eBay...

Spelling and grammar. There is no "a" in definitely! And I'm pretty good at proofreading other people's written words, but not always my own. So if you see some typos in my profile, feel free to send me a correction.

Procrastination. I'm really good at that. And I'm really good at a bunch of other things but I'll fill those out later...

The first things people usually notice about me

You either get my sense of humor and think I'm the funniest guy you've ever met, or don't get it and think I'm just weird.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - I like pretty much anything by John Grisham and Robert Ludlum.
Movies - All time favorite is "The Graduate." I haven't seen many recent movies."
Music - Wide range: KT Tunstall, Led Zeppelin, Spyro Gyra just to name a few. Mostly Classic Rock but am ok listening to just about anything except country and rap.
Food - Italian, Thai, Mexican, American.

The six things I could never do without

Water, Air, Food, Humor, my Harley, and rollercoasters.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Many times I've wondered how much there is to know.

On a typical Friday night I am

...usually having dinner with friends, or maybe bowling or at a pub playing pool and/or darts. Sometimes I'll just get in some extra cardio and then relax in my hot tub.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

OK, but you can't tell anyone this because I know how all the women on OKC are only attracted to the bad boys: I HAVE NEVER BEEN ARRESTED! :-)

Oh, and I have good credit.

You should message me if

...if you want to meet an awesome guy who will keep you laughing so much you pee yourself every now and then, or at least make milk come out your nose.
