My Self-Summary

.........................................................................................................

What I’m doing with my life

Good question.

Currently I'm an undergrad majoring in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Public Policy. I'm not sure where this will lead me, but I am interested on working on water quality issues both in the developing world and in parts of the United States that still lack basic clean water and sanitation.

I’m really good at

writing thank you notes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I miss having time to read, but the next rainy day when I don't have much to do I'll finish reading Divine Right's Trip. And Lolita. And Cadillac Desert.

I like lots of movies from Romantic Comedies to Action to Indie films. I hate hate hate suspenseful, meaningless movies like "I Know What You Did Last Summer"... and "I still know what you did last summer." I'm warming up to thrillers and scary movies unless they are gorey. There's a reason I'm not pre-med.

I'm pretty in to my Queen inspired Pandora radio station right now and my friend recently took me to a Regina Spektor concert where I realized how much I like her songs other than the ones on the radio... like "On the Radio". hah.

Food is one of my loves in life. No really. I really like Indian food and garlic mashed potatoes and homemade rice krispy treats. I wish I were vegetarian. This semester I've gotten hooked on chai lattes and I'm looking to find the perfect one. So far Simon's Coffee Shop in Porter Square is high up on the list.

The six things I could never do without

getting out of my comfort zone are:

1. Meet people online.
2. Move somewhere new... completely on my own.
3. Participate in a public debate.
4. Go bungee jumping.
5. Cut all my hair off.
6. Drive in Boston traffic.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Oh the places I'll go.

How much I prefer the metric system, especially when it comes to speed limits. I've heard it's pretty exciting to drive into Canada and suddenly realize the speed limit is 120.

On a typical Friday night I am

Crashing, watching movies on hulu, and ordering fro yo in with a friend. Vanilla with Oatmeal Cookie mix-ins please.

Or...

Looking for something new and exciting to do.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

When it comes to meeting people online I'm not a cynic but I am still a skeptic... not divulging anything here.
