I've lived in the highlands area for almost three years, so I can say that I'm urban and hip now, after living in the suburbs for most of my life. Now I can't even see myself living somewhere else, but I want to experience a lot of different parts of the city as well. People generally tell me I'm crazy when I say this, but I think Atlanta is the best city in the world.
Being really ambitious (sometimes to a fault), I dropped out of high school when I was sixteen on a journey to become an internet poker superstar. It had never occurred to me that I might get burned out on poker, but I eventually did. If I could go back and do it all again, I totally would. Along with everything it taught me, I have too many great degenerate gambling stories to give up. =P
My workdays usually consist of sitting in front of the computer all day, with some meetings scattered here and there. You know how they say war is endless hours of boredom with moments of sheer terror? My job is pretty much like that without the sheer terror part (kidding, I have a pretty good gig and a borderline insane co-worker to fill the sheer terror quota).
I'm an endorphin junkie, so being healthy and working out is a very big part of my life. I'm a big fan of P90x and have an unhealthy love-hate (love-love) relationship with Tony Horton. I also follow an eating regimen called intermittent fasting, and I'll nerd out over it with anyone who asks.
I'm a really, really positive person in a sometimes cute, cynical way. :)
Oh, and I really like mixed martial arts. And candles. Those are similar enough to mention in the same paragraph, right?
