I'm a genuinely kind-hearted, compassionate, easy-going guy who loves to laugh. At first impression, I'm a bit shy, but I open up once I get to know you. In order to better myself, I try to absorb as much as I can from life through my experiences. I try to make a difference everyday when and where I can. I love to help people, and I always go out of my way to help a friend in need.

I definitely enjoy and appreciate the little things in life, and I would like to find someone who feels the same way. I'm definitely looking for a serious relationship with someone who's fun and genuine. I'm a nice and kind person who appreciates sincerity and honesty.

I love to learn, and I try to soak in as much as humanly possible every single day. I am intrigued by all forms of electronics and I enjoy investigating how things work and operate. I'm a bit of a nerd, or geek, but I definitely know how to have fun around Chicago. It's a great city, with a lot of history and culture, and it would be nice to find someone to explore with.

I am a huge fan of Wikipedia, and I also enjoy How Stuff Works. I am a very handy person and I love to take on D.I.Y. home projects.

I am currently working at a hospital, seaching for a career in the IT field. I have many goals in life, and I'm on a mission to cross them off as I go. I'm trying to be a jack of all trades, but you know the saying...lol Some of the people that I admire and respect are great thinkers, like:Malcom Gladwell, Briane Greene,Neal De Gras Tyson, Dean Kamen, etc. I've recently picked up drawing, photography, electrical engineering, and cooking.

I enjoy being at home, but I also enjoy going out to amovie, show, or restaurant. I am a very athletic person. although it may not look like it. I'm still working on the New Year's resolution...lol I enjoy running and playing different types of sports. They include basketball, baseball, softball, bowling, tennis and football.

I am really good at troubleshooting and repairing things.

I'm not sure exactly what people notice about me because that's a very subjective point of view. See what I mean about being rational.

I enjoy watching or listening to educational programs like Dyscovery Channel and NPR. My favorite publich radio programs include: Wait...Wait, Car Talk, This American Life, The Story, and Radiolab.

To be honest, my favorite book is the dictionary. Although fiction can spark imagination, I'd rather read non-fiction books, because I'm on a search for TRUTH. I love reading practical books that show me how to do things, such as any of the "for Dummies" books. I'm a real Do It Yourselfer.

As for my favorite movies; I love watching Braveheart, JFK, The Matrix, Back to the Future, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Michael Moore films, interesting documentaries and any Pixar film. I also love comedies, including smart standup acts like George Carlin, Dane Cook, etc.

I'm a huge fan of the TV series': The Office, American Chopper, Mythbusters, Deadliest Catch, Little People Big World, Dirty Jobs, and This Old House.

Music is a big part of my life and I listen to all types. From African/Afro-Cuban rhytms to Classical, Soul, R&B, Rock, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata,Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, Dance, Electronic, and Trance.
Some of the artists I find myself listening to often are: Tiesto, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Eminem, Timbaland, Hector Lavoe, Aventura, Juan Luis Guerra, Coldplay, Robert Miles].

I'm willling to take some Salsa classes, but I need to find an understanding partner with toes of steel. ("I got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!" WHO SAYS THIS?).

As for food, I'll try anything once, but I can't get enough Mexican food. I'm on a quest to find the best tacos in town. So, if anyone has any recommendation, I would appreciate the suggestions.

I spend a lot of time thinking about about philosophy, science, nature, and humanity. I'm also interested in sociology and human behavior. I also think a lot about different issues, and I love to question my own beliefs. I am very passionate about learning as much as I physically can...INPUT!

I try to mix things up everyday, so that my life doesn't become too predictable or monotonous.

I had a watery substance leaking out of my eyes the first time I saw the movie Titanic, but don't tell anyone.
