I have no idea how to do this. Should I tell a story? Make it like a resume? I was told to try OKC by a coworker who has had a lot of "luck" meeting girls. But he actually bought a book and uses templates and pre-made summaries designed to sound appealing to women and get more results/responses.

Screw that.

This is me. I am a nerdy *nice guy* that plays a lot of guitar. I mean a lot a lot of guitar. I've been posting "Song of the Week" on the book of faces every week and I am up to 5 months now.
Music is a type of therapy for me. I love all of the different feelings that can be channeled through six strings, sometimes 12, or 8 (mandolin). When I'm having a good day, I want to play guitar. When having a uber cruddy day, I want to play guitar. Its been the main constant in my life since early college.

I am also a photographer. I studied photojournalism in college and worked for a small town newspaper for just over two years. I have been to Uganda and South Sudan with teams as their photographer, and I am going to Bolivia this July and Haiti in Feb next year.

I have no idea how to meet people here on OKC but what do I have to lose?

*I mentioned I am a "nice guy," and I would like to clarify. It seems loads of dudes post that they are nice guys and what not and its not always true. I am going to label myself as 'aspirationaly nice' instead. I try my best to be nice and sweet like my mama raised me, but sometimes I fail. It takes a lot to make me mad or snap at someone, but sometimes people are jerks and need to be told so etc. I'm trying my best to be my best

My life has gone in many different directions and the ride ain't slowing down yet.

Currently I am making Whisks (the kitchen tool) in Portland after quitting the food service industry. I was tired of the crappy hours, terrible bosses, and I was getting molested by a tiny Thai woman, which everyone but me thought was hilarious.

But I needed a break from the city. I love Portland and I love Oregon, but I needed more space than what NE Portland had to offer. But I still wanted to be close to Portland and my family and friends, so I moved across the river out into the country. I love it, awesome views of Portland, lots of space, fresh air, stars! and we're going to have two horses very soon.

But what am I doing with my life? Making the best of it and looking to find someone to hopefully share it with.
