I live my life according to Polonius' advice to Laertes in Act I of
Hamlet: "This above all, to thine own self be true." My cheese
knowledge, while once encyclopaedic, is waning as my interest in
paleolithic foods waxes.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm taking it easy, working out when i can be bothered to, brewing
some pretty good beer, and having fun.
I’m really good at
I like riding and fixing bikes (that's bicycles, not motorbikes)
and brewing my own beer, then drinking it. I can say objectively
that I'm a really good cook.
The first things people usually notice about me
my voice. It's low and kind of rough. People say they like it. Also
im pertty sarcastic. Actually, SO sarcastic that people don't
really notice it first, per se. Not afraid to use my
vocabulary--English is the most diverse language on Earth, flaunt
it if ya got it!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Rule of the Bone,
Infinite Jest, Breaking Bad, High Fidelity for media... As for
food, I'm not wild about saffron, but apart from that, I actually
do like everything.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The universe. It's far too vast and full of awesome shit to NOT
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably finishing up brewing a batch of beer
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Like most serious cyclists, I shave my legs
You should message me if
You need a workout buddy, you want me to cook you dinner, or you
feel like you should. Message me, that is.
