My Self-Summary
I'm a bit of a math
and computer
science geek, although more so on the math side of things. I'm
also a musician;
I've played piano
with voice students for years at UNC and am also in an up-and-coming
80s band around there.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I'm working in the Eshelman School of Pharmacy on
protein design software, along with working with a voice student
over the summer. I'm looking for a better job at the same time,
though, and would eventually like to work towards a Ph.D. in math
and do research and teach.
I’m really good at
Playing piano - I spent my undergrad playing for voice students in
the music department. Also, any Zelda, Mario, or Metroid game and
most videogames in general. I've never lost a swimming race,
although I've never attempted to compete with anyone serious about
it.

Either my hair or my eyes. Maybe both.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Slaughterhouse-Five,

Night or anything else by Kurt Vonnegut, The World
According to Garp, A Prayer for Owen Meany,
and I'm getting into the Wheel of Time series.
Movies: American Beauty, A Clockwork Orange, Pleasantville, Fight Club, Punch-Drunk Love, anything Tarantino, most Monty Python (especially The Meaning of Life), The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Dogma, Fight Club, Labyrinth, and American History X. I should also mention the Futurama movies, mostly because I'm a huge Futurama fan.
Music: The Beatles, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Queen just like everyone else in the world who isn't trying to be cool, and, perhaps more originally: The Flaming Lips The Killers, RHCP, The Cure, The Smiths, Bad Religion, NOFX, Guttermouth, Gogol Bordello, They Might Be Giants, Architecture In Helsinki, The Shins, The Postal Service, Iron & Wine, Belle & Sebastian, The Olivia Tremor Control. I'm also really into classical stuff, especially Chopin, Liszt], Rachmaninoff and, more recently, Beethoven.
Food: Bojangle's and Taco Bell hold my heart when it comes to fast food. At home, my staples include tuna and Rice-a-Roni and I can whip up a mean pasta dish.

The six things I could never do without
A piano somewhere nearby that I have easy access to, a computer, a
phone, something to use for resistance training (I'm by no means a
bodybuilder though), illegal music and TV show downloads, and fire
(on the occasions when it is warranted)
