Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
After stumbling upon this site for years upon years, I decided to
finally make myself an account for my own personal amusement. So
far I'm rather intrigued by the way the site maps my personality,
but I digress.
To describe myself, I'm that big, mellow, friendly guy. That guy
that insists that you go first at the checkout line at the grocery
store. That doesn't mean I'm gullible and superstitious as I have
both of my feet firmly implanted into the fabric that is reality.
I'm often described as being a "very rational person", which works
both for and against me.
Most of the time, I try to approach life from a humorous angle, it
keeps things fresh and keeps me sane. One major outlet for this is
making comics, which is something I'm doing since my childhood. I
have made that hobby into my profession, and you'll find out that
my nickname also exists on deviantART.
Currently, I'm living in the heart of Rotterdam, enjoying the urban
lifestyle after spending my childhood traveling in full circle
through Drente, Breda and Rucphen county.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Aside from the obvious basics, my main goal in life is simply to
achieve happiness, which is central in my decision making. I'm
currently running my own business as a freelance
animator/illustrator, with the ambition to get a long-form comic
published, with the ultimate goal to turn it into an animated
Since my line of work is quite time consuming, I maintain a small,
but loyal circle of friends. Since they tend to be artists such as
myself, we tend to watch movies, play video games and geek out at
I also like to go on road trips, preferably with my friends and my
trusty Mazda 626, which I have nicknamed Wallii because I'm silly
like that. Nothing is more amusing to travel from place to place
with nothing but a car, a tent and supplies, in order to explore
not-so-typical places I've never been to.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
As my profile, up to this point, would suggest is that I'm an
artist, I've drawn almost as long I can remember, and it is
universally accepted that I'm good at what I do.
I'm also very handy with computers and other digital appliances.
For instance, I tend to build my own computers rather than to buy

I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My big posture is often cited as a defining physical feature. By
some, I'm described as "not bad looking" or "standing out". Also,
my goatee seems to be one of those defining features (it definitely
helps the "pretentious hipster" thing going).
Also, I have been told that I look like Flynn Rider from Disney's
Tangled/Rapunzel. Watching that movie is the weirdest experience to

Oh dear, here we go with the endless lists of media that, quite
frankly, I think no one reads. Also, I don't really think that I
really have something that counts as favorites, since it's usually
a range of franchises that work in their respective genres. So
instead, I'm going to list the franchises that helped me develop
Invader Zim and Johnen Vasquez' work in general greatly influenced
me early on. The unique art style and the bizarre humor really
intrigues me to this day.
Everything from Pixar is a masterpiece, except for Cars.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is arguably the most epic franchise for
Western animation for TV. Great characters, great art, great
The Matrix was a very interesting movie, which combined awesome
action with the creepy premise that the world we live in might be
nothing but a simulation. The sequels seem to miss the
I also enjoy anime from time to time, but I never caught myself
obsessed with it. My favorite animes include Fullmetal Alchemist,
Samurai Shamploo and Panty and Stocking. Naruto influenced me on
While I do read books, it's never a novel of some sort. I do,
however, have a rather diverse comic book collection, ranging from
your average Spirou to Sam and Max and Transmetropolitan.
When it comes to music, I'm an unidirectional mess. I listen to all
sorts of genres from all over the world. I doubt that there's
anything I could type here that's of any use.
Did I mention I like food? My diet consists mostly of non-domestic
dishes, mostly Italian (which isn't another way of saying I eat
nothing but pizza). I seem to actually enjoy cooking and having
people taste my food, the fact that I like to eat the things I
prepare is an added bonus.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1 Friends, family, you know, the basics.
2 The Internet. While I can cope without it, the
Internet is great for many things.
3 Creativity. Without it, we're just living out
4 Coffee, if I were a car, it would display
"caffeine only" on the petrol cap.
5 Knowledge. Knowledge is power.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A substantial amount of time when I'm not required to think about a
task at hand, I'm thinking up new ideas for stories that might end
up becoming a comic one day.
I also tend to think about political issues, but more in the
practical sense. And of course, I'm plotting if there is something
fun I could do, by myself or with my friends.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Since my off-time is scattered all over the week, it all depends. I
often end up working, either freelance or on my personal projects.
I'm not really the type of person to go to wild parties anyway.
Somehow the whole concept of standing in a bar and drinking for the
sake of getting drunk doesn't appeal to me.

staat alleen zo vreemd op een Engelstalige site.
