My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to have fun, which, depending on my mood can mean sitting and watching a movie, or going out and partying or going camping, or sleeping, or cooking, or eating, or riding a roller coaster. I think you get the idea. I tend to have a good time doing mostly anything so long as I'm with people I like. Here's a list of facts about me in no particular order:

I like spanish; I dislike milk chocolate with an intense aversion, but LOVE dark chocolate; I make things up, but the last thing I said wasn't one of them; I adore theatre with the utmost passion; I love pasta in basically any form; many believe I look like Jim Carrey (or Harry Potter as described in the books when I'm wearing my glasses); fewer people think I look like Jared Leto; I have a special and very well kept place in my heart for Sci-Fi because it is usually more sci than fi; I rarely cry and wish this were different; I don't like the texture of Jello so I swish it around in my mouth until it's liquid before swallowing; I will not swim in water if i can't see the bottom; I have been in two different circuses at two different summer camps; I have acid reflux; I am allergic to nature, but love being in it.; I procrastinate at everything like nobody's business; I had a girlfriend in 7th and 8th grade; I like original flavored Goldfish; I am really afraid of spiders if/when they are out of their element A.K.A in my room; teeth are a big part of attraction for me, guess it's 'cause i'm the son of a dentist; sometimes, I knit; I like oatmeal; I occasionally live vicariously through straight girlfriends; I hate condiments; I used to act like a dog and eat doggy bones; I have no filter;

I am honest, ridiculous, and passionate
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working in theatre in DC. It's the thing I'm best at, but I'm still not sure it's what I'm really destined to do. I also occasionally act on film or production assistant film shoots.

And recently I started teaching part-time, which is awesome so far.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
building things and working with my hands. I'm also good at making people laugh, or at least look at me confused.

I also love to use google Sketchup to render 3D models of things, especially houses, to really specific details. It relaxes me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is my smile and genial nature. I'm a pretty "up" person.

are ever-changing. Some that I like pretty consistently are The Planet of the Apes book and movie (1968), any books by David Sedaris, Michael Thomas Ford, or Michael Crichton. I own about 400 movies, so picking a favorite is very hard. However 2 of my all-time favorites for almost completely nostalgic reasons are Hocus Pocus and Newsies. Music favorites are generally Classical, Jazz, Film Scores, World, and much much more. 100+ GBs of music attests to that, I think. Some favorite composers are John Williams, Danny Elfman, Vaughn Williams, James Newton Howard, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Benoit Jutras, Michael Giacchino...man, the list goes on and on.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
are: the internet; pasta; music; friends; booze; and a toothbrush.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Halloween. I know that seems sorta weird, but ask me about it, and you'll see. I run a haunted house mostly alone and it takes a lot of effort to try and make it happen each year.

I also think about evolution and human psychology and how they're related. Watching commercials is really interesting to me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
trying to make plans to go out, if I'm not working. Lately, I've been spending them at home watching something new and interesting on Netflix. I think I could get behind doing that with someone else.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that nothing is too private to talk about. Oh, and that I had a rat tail for the longest time. Longer than they were in style, but I refused to cut it because I thought it was so unbelievably awesome.

you want to ask me anything. Anything at all. I'm kinda an open book. Or, even, if you want to tell me how horrible my profile made you feel about yourself. Or good, I guess...
