So, in my own words: I recently completed my MFA in sound design for theater! When I'm not working on a show, I'm seeing some art house film, play, or rock concert. In addition to design, I'm also starting to create some installation art.

My other major hobby is traveling, one of the best parts of the design gig is to work on a show, and take it on the road. Of late, the road has been just the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, but at least it's on the other side of the pond.

Around LA, I love eating, seeing rock, theater, movies, and gallery hopping.

Also, I live downtown. For me, there's something important about being able to walk to work, take the subway to the ArcLight, etc. I think of it as giving a metaphorical finger to the prescribed LA lifestyle every day!

After three seasons at the LA Opera, another adventure presented itself, so goodbye opera... Hello Cirque du Soleil! I'm on the sound team at Iris, so think of that what you will!

Playing records at parties... what is not supposed to be a dance party will become one if I'm left unchecked.

Finding discounts for event tickets... when you see as much as I do, it helps to know how to work the system.

Pub trivia. Alcohol and useless knowledge, the best combination.

Since I work in Theater, Sunday night is generally my Friday night, so I'm trying to rock out whatever way I can (this week, for instance, I'm seeing the band !!! at the Troubadour).
