My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"The less there was to see, the harder he looked, the more he saw. This was the point. To see what's here, finally to look and to know you're looking, to feel time passing, to be alive to what is happening in the smallest registers of motion." -- Don DeLillo.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been back in Dallas, where I'm originally from, for about a year now after ten years in LA working in the film industry. Currently, I work for a tech company you probably frequented today where I'm a manager and I enjoy my work. I have a membership to the DMA, visit the Alamo Draft House, Angelika, Magnolia as much as I can find time. I drink gin martinis up, stirred, I read a lot, I follow current events and have thoughtful opinions, and I suppose the point here is that I'm eager to share these curiosities and experiences with you, if we dig each other, in meaningful ways.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Tennis, talking, listening, helping, writing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have really blue eyes and a beard and I have both my arms. I'm just realizing it kind of looks like I don't in a few of my pictures.

My goal this year is to finish the four volume biography of LBJ by Robert Caro; listening to new St Vincent, Phantogram, Beck, Avett Bros, Bill Callahan; the last great film I saw was AMERICAN HUSTLE; I recently had dinner at Salum, which was a treat.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Mirth, joy, loyalty, passion, curiosity, wit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My cat's thumbs. Why are they there? Can she open a Heineken?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My cat (Annie) is running all over my house right now and jumping on my head and backflipping into the bathtub. I'm hoping you can join us.

Honestly, I'll probably hit you up first if I'm interested. I'm not particularly bashful when I see what I want.
