My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"The less there was to see, the harder he looked, the more he saw. This was the point. To see what's here, finally to look and to know you're looking, to feel time passing, to be alive to what is happening in the smallest registers of motion." -- Don DeLillo.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been back in Dallas, where I'm originally from, for two years now. Spent ten years in LA working in digital advertising. Currently, I manage accounts for a software company and I enjoy my work. I have a membership to the DMA, visit the Alamo Draft House, Angelika, Magnolia and I'm on the Board of Directors of a local theater company. I see a lot of shows, too, and try to get out every weekend for something interesting.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Tennis, listening, helping, writing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have really blue eyes and a beard and I have both my arms. I'm just realizing it kind of looks like I don't.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My goal this year is to finish the four volume biography of LBJ by Robert Caro; listening to new St Vincent, Phantogram, Beck, Avett Bros, Bill Callahan; the last great film I saw was WHIPLASH; I recently had dinner at The Keg, which was awesome.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Mirth, joy, loyalty, passion, curiosity, wit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My cat's thumbs. Why are they there? Can she open beers?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
