I am quirky, athletic, and an intellectual.

My Self-Summary

"Due to inflation talk is no longer cheap."

I am kind of a strange guy. I like to write jokes (hence the previous line), and working out (but not in a vain way). I watch a lot of documentaries.

I have been in the Hudson Valley for a while, and I have a group of friends that I hang out with every chance I get, but there is something about meeting somebody for the first time, that I have been missing. Its invigorating to get to know somebody, and to hear their stories.

I am a big fan of beer, wine and coffee tasting. I am so good, I can tell the difference between Coke Zero and Coke, (Coke Zero is less viscous.) But for beer I am a huge fan of bitter IPA's. The bitterer the better.

I want to try to get into new things.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a software engineer, so basically I push buttons all day, and the last thing I want to do when I get home is to push more buttons, but I love my job.

Currently I am training for my first triathlon. I have somebody I really want to beat and I will need all the help I can get. After that I signed up to do a charity bike ride.

I’m really good at

Work (but that is boring).

Lifting weights. I try to go at least 4 times a week, and I set new goals. My last goal was to back squat 300lbs. Now its triathlon training/bike training.

Jokes. At least I think so. And that is who matters.

The first things people usually notice about me

Um, I am 6'3", bit guy. But I am a computer programmer. It takes a bit for that to sink it for most people.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Non-fiction books.
I have read Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Gilbert 4 times.
Maclom Gladwell: Outliers, Tipping Point, Blink.

I listen and watch a lot of stand up comedy. I definitely watch a lot of documentaries.

I am not a movie person or a watching sports person.

Music is Fast Beat Alternative, like Tokyo Police Club, The Velvet Teen, Bloc Party.

The six things I could never do without

Coffee x6

You like intellectual discussions, and you like to work out. I find it fun to think up new ways of thinking of things.
