I sing mean jazz and karaoke Bjork, spout education policy and
break down business theory.
My path to figure out the best means to effect social justice has taken me from petitioning, to teaching high school on a ranch, to business school, to management consulting. Now I advise nonprofits and foundations on strategy and love it.
I have a full and fulfilling life - and am looking for someone to share it with. Someone who can support, challenge and delight me - who expects the same.

What I’m doing with my life
While I've been in NY for 5 years, I'm really only just settling
in. The first few years I was traveling and working too much. Now
Brooklyn is a real home. And while I'm passionate about my work, I
now have time and appetite for more...like African dance classes,
riding to the Park Slope coop, frequenting BAM, stoop-sitting, and
adventuring.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love me some music. Jazz. Mathrock. Hiphop. Swamp. Shoegazer. Fado. Bhangra. Soul. Etc.
Current rotation: Cannonball Adderly. Osman Ismen. Billie Holiday. Built to Spill. Bill Evans. Kadifes. Chet Baker.
I read mostly fiction. Bolano, Bulgakov, Calvino, Cortazar, Moore,Murakami, Wallace and Walser are some of my favorites.
Movies? Anything from Goonies to Dil Se. Jarmusch, Hartley, Wong Kar Wai, Hughes, Rohmer. You'll more likely find me at BAM or Sunshine than AMC.
I love food too, whether preparing, sharing, or eating it. My standards include ginger chicken, tempeh with hot miso soy dressing, balsamic-glazed lamb chops, and just about any fresh produce.
