I tell lies for a living. By which I mean I write little stories that people much, much better looking than me act out on a screen near you. Thus the "prententious writer" pose you see above.

Books: I read tons of history (it's what I got my degree in... I also have a minor in Latin-- I remember nothing) and true crime, and genre but try to mix it up. Some favorites: The Death of Sweet Mister, Game of Thrones, Of Human Bondage, the Culture Novels, Miracleman, Sandman, anything Neil Gaiman, Saga, Prophet, Preacher, Fables, Sweet Tooth, Grendel, anything Neal Stephenson, Shibumi, Scud: The Disposable Assassin, The War of Art, anything Joe Abercrombie, Horns, Ender's Game, the Great Brain books, and so many more.
