My self-summary
I'm pretty nice, and deeply weird. That's a pretty great thing!

Going to be honest, and say I'm not entirely certain what I want to get off this site. Definitely more looking for awesome people to be friends with more than anything else.

I have pretty limited free time, since I'm usually working full-time plus doing at least one or two other projects, but I'm also trying to consciously build in more time in my schedule to meet new people and learn new things!

Currently interested in spirituality, unexplored New York secrets, kindness, great books, things that make people cry, dance, yoga, and honesty.

(Putting this note near the top though:
Please be socially aware; racism/sexism/classism/anti-LGBTQ make you a sucky person, not just a bad date.)
What I’m doing with my life
In essence, I'm finding ways to get rid of all my built-in defenses - I'm an actor in New York, finished school doing Meisner work, and now I'm working at a music company & trying to figure out that work-art balance! I also worked for a non-profit that develops and teaches culinary education for teens, which was pretty nice! Currently: doing a bunch dancing in my free time!
I’m really good at
Making people feel at ease. Learning things quickly. Computers. Massage/Grounding/(Beginner!) Energy Work. Covering Jungian shadow with a calm demeanor. Rolling around on the floor, channeling feelings!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Science fiction.
Grotowski / Physical Theater.
Gregory Benford - Galactic Center Series; Acrobatics of the Heart by Steve Wangh
Music: Weird feminisms, blips and bleeps, kind dudes with beards
Food*: Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese are my favorites, but I'm always willing to go on food adventures.

* Cooking together with someone else (using tried or untried recipes) makes me really happy, and is usually a ton of fun.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the blocks we have that stop us from full self-expression. What other people think about and how they think about it; gender; sexuality; how to fit more deliciousness in an already packed life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Nothing's really typical! But ideally, seeing something overwhelmingly strange and real, and learning something new.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm pretty hard on myself sometimes! You can also read my public answers, a lot of private stuff is not that private there!
You should message me if
you delight in life. If the unexplored (geographically, mentally, existentially) gets you hot and alive. If you are creative and you want someone to play with and create things with! If you're also doing the non-monogamy thing (or want to talk about it!)!

Let's approach dating like fingerpainting - laughing, covered with paint, making a beautiful, life-affirming, loving mess :)
