Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Words that have been used to describe me.... (no particular order,
that's up to you) let's see -- unconventional, quirky, funny,
stud.... if we meet you can take your time arranging them, no
pressure (ha-ha). My closest friends would describe me as genuine.
I always try to make time for them and lend a hand whenever I can.
I like to crack jokes and get people to laugh. I have a dog, so
it's important that you are animal friendly.
I've been in the same line of work for over 30 years...
luckily I like what I do ~
I want to tell you this upfront about my work schedule... It's not
the most enviable.... currently, I work weekday evenings. While
this leaves the morning hours to my discretion, my weeknights are
spent at work. I don't expect this to be forever, but it's my
reality for now. However, I want to assure you that I do have the
desire and capacity for someone new in my life. Still with me??
Cool, read on~
There's a test that says I am "center-brained"....
(not sure what that means,
I'm kinda on the fence about it)
& I am a recovering Catholic...
(I know what that means)
& I wonder if those two things are weirdly connected--
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I like to live by the golden rule and do unto others... The shore
is OK but I prefer the mountains. I enjoy working on various
projects around my house & yard and I'm happy to be elbow deep
in mud. I have a decent job with a solid company... I like it and
it pays the bills. I've volunteered at a local arts and music
center in South Jersey and at the most recent XPoNential Music
Festival. (great weekend!!)
I enjoy skiing in the winter, golf in warmer months and going to
concerts year round. I have an interest in learning to kayak, so if
you already paddle maybe you can show me the way. Kicking back with
friends at concerts, movies and comedy clubs are a favorite
anytime. I'm versatile in the mountains, on a beach and points in
between. I love a good rocking thunder storm!
I'm no gym rat, but I do manage to go 3 - 4 times a week, even if
it's for only 30-45 minutes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a good (some say great) friend,
making people laugh,
cooking <---> (needs work on the
cleaning up part),
useless info trivia,
building a fire,
stoking the fire ...
the list goes on....
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
probably the red hair....

My musical tastes are wide and varied (WXPN and WRFF on the radio)
- they range from Johnny Cash to The Cure, Pink Floyd to Primus,
Willie Nelson to Wilco... there are very few styles I don't care
for. I'm a sucker for lyrics and a catchy beat... I'm like a kid in
a candy store.
Speaking of candy, I have a major chocolate-jones that manages to
get fed regularly from Halloween until Easter.
I am a self professed beer snob..
no shame in my game.
(don't get it twisted... not a boozer,
just a guy who appreciates quality~)
And I'm fairly versatile with my diet, mostly opting for fish or
fowl, heavy on the fruits & veggies, nuts, cheese, whole
As far as movies go, if Mel Brooks or Quentin Tarantino had
anything to do with them... I'm in. Coen Bros... I'm in. Dark &
medium paced epics like "No Country for Old Men" or "There Will Be
Blood" or "The Year of Living Dangerously" or "Inception"... I'm
in. Guilty pleasure stuff = comic book heroes turned into movies
(I'm looking at you "Iron Man"). Even guiltier... occasionally
being taken in by a chick flick. Yeah, I kinda liked "Eat, Pray,
Love". Maybe it was the lush and exotic landscapes...... or maybe
it was just me getting a dirty Julia Roberts fix.... that doesn't
make me a bad person, does it?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This is kind of restrictive, so I'm changing it to stuff I'm kinda
again, in no particular order....
(subject to edit)
Warmth (in my house, my car, and in you)
IPA's & Stouts (& Shandy during the summer)
A great kiss
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I used to be mildly amused by the impending Mayan "D-Day".
Seems they just ran out of rock to chisel...
Why do all the best "match / enemy" ratios come attached to
profiles that are beyond a reasonable traveling distance? Cruel
joke? If you are the exception (NOT far away...), step out of the
shadows and start waving or send up a flare... I can't see you from
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday nights I'm working for the man.
But if it's Saturday night you may find
me enjoying GOOD beer, food and
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
psst~ yeah, you.... the stuff listed above
(height, age, body type, etc.) are the real deal...
no smoke and mirrors...
& I'm a card-carrying ginger
guess that's not so private...
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.

I'm a reasonably smart guy,
but help me figure this out.
I mentioned short-term dating above in
effort to start a fire/debate... if you care
to engage, please tell me what your take is,
---just something to do while packing your
bags because you're leaving town?
---a euphemism to be used in polite conversation?
( = casual sex...)
---or something completely different?
let's discuss ~~~
It's really pretty easy...
a couple of emails,
a phone chat or two,
and a simple meet and greet~
(it's almost fool-proof.... mwah ah ah ah!)
