I do not enjoy any kind of fiction in written form. However, I do
once in a while like to sit down with a bunch of graduate level
Mathematics and Computer Science textbooks and study, for the sole
purpose of gaining knowledge.

music:
Since my Mom is so musical, she tried to get me into playing an
instrument very early. But, as I grew older, I found myself drawn
to other things, and yet, my Mom still kept trying to push music on
me. So, eventually I rebelled and sort of broke all ties with the
musical world. However, over the years, I discovered that there
were certain songs in movies and computer/video games that I liked,
and as time passed, I gradually found more and more single songs
that I liked. So, to answer the question "What music do I like?" I
would have to say that I am not sure, but I would be willing to
explore the queston. Although, I have noticed certain patterns in
my musical tastes:
-I DO NOT LIKE RAP MUSIC.
-I have still not been able to understand the concept of music for
music's sake. I prefer to have the music accompanied by something
else. (movie, computer game,... etc.)
-The songs that I react most strongly to tend to either be
humorous, (see: http://www.stevemacdonald.org/lyrics/wiwab.html or
http://www.leoslyrics.com/frank-hayes/never-set-the-cat-on-fire-lyrics/)
or to be designed to exhibit a strong emotional response. (e.g.
many of the songs from the Lord of the Rings, or pretty much
anything found in the Star Trek saga.)
