Well, the basics I guess, I've never been married and don't have any kids, so I guess you'll be spared any drama there. But I come from a large family, I'm the youngest of seven, more than double that number in nephews and nieces and great versions of both, and lets just say we are an ethnically diverse bunch lol Black, White, Hispanic, both in the past and present, all are welcome and accepted in la mia famiglia!
I served only six years in the Marine Corp, but it was an experience beyond compare and I couldn't possibly do it justice here. I saw a lot, learned, even more, and served beside some damm fine human beings, even managed to walked away with my sanity intact lol.
I'm a even minded, and easy going kind of guy, yes I smile, except in pictures haha, and laugh easily, both at life and definitely at myself!
I'm not one for drama, games or nonsense. Or, to say it bluntly, I'm not here to blow smoke up your a**. And I expect the same in return. It's simple mutual respect oui?
I am somewhat of an idealist in my approach to love, tinged with a bit of realism, "I'm far from naive" but an idealist none the same. I embrace romance, expression and sincerity in my relationships. I look for the best in a women first, and understanding that we are all flawed creatures, I certainly am lol, look for her native personality, is she at her core, a good, decent and loving person?
As a physical anthropologist, I am of course, open on the ethnic and cultural background of any potential lady. What you are, where you come from, pales in comparison to Who you are. It is more about the content of your character then your genetic makeup. But I would take time to learn about your culture, language, if I'm not familiarwith it already.
I believe honesty is the cornerstone of any relationship.
And believe fidelity and true heartfelt communication are the other two cornerstones of a healthy relationship.
I wouldn't say I was old fashioned, but me being me, I open doors and will pull out a chair for any women I encounter going about my day. To me it's just common courtesy. So of course the significant other I'm seeking here will receive that and more. Don't believe reports of chivalry being dead, it is an exaggeration, sick maybe but not dead.
I'm a member of the national geographic society and love geology. And, I was a boyscout so I love nature and wildlife, the mountains and the seas.
I truly believe, it is the duty of everyone of us to be far better stewards of what we all share here on this extraordinary blue marble.
