My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Dan.

I'm hardworking to a fault, but know how to carve out a good time when I can. I've got a great routine for myself, but would like to be able to share my time and energy with someone else. I like to go with the flow and I'm always looking to have a good time with new people.

I like to think I'm a kid in an adult's body, and try to enjoy whatever comes up. I've got a great sense of humor and make use of it everyday. I don't get too stressed out over anything -- I believe my mind is the one thing I truly own, so why turn it over to things that will waste my time?

I'm not really good at describing myself, but I can share some of the rules I live by:

-Have fun
-Be polite
-Do things the right way
-Don't worry about what other people think
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated with honors from UF in 2011 with a bachelors in Psychology. Grad school sounded expensive and boring, so now I work full time for UF's food service provider, managing my own location and assisting with others. For now I'll climb the corporate ladder while I think of a way to break out with my own great idea.

Update: I had to make a change and l recently unshackled myself from the restaurant business and moved into sales. Hopefully now I'll actually make some money while I'm busting my ass day in and day out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Crossword puzzles, being on time, making sandwiches, staring contests.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People say I have a great voice and that I should be on radio.

One or two people may have lost themselves in my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't read a lot of books, but I do enjoy reading the news and stupid internet articles.

When it comes to movies I like anything with Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis, Martin Scorsese, Christian Bale, and/or poop jokes. Star Wars and Indiana Jones hold a special place in my heart.

Most recently I've been watching Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Homeland, Parks and Rec, How it's Made, Jeopardy, and most things on Adult Swim.

I'm slowly becoming more skilled in the kitchen. I've got breakfast on lock-down and can cook a mean pork chop. I like making stews and chili since I can throw everything in the crock pot and let it simmer for 8 hours. I'm not looking to be an accomplished chef, but I'd like to focus more on expanding my culinary repertoire.

I don't know a lot about music, but I do know what I like. Bowie, Chicago, Radiohead, Billy Joel, Deftones... pretty much anything my parents played when I was a kid, or was popular when I was younger.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Not including people and physical necessities:
-a Bic pen
-Netflix
-sarcasm
-my sandwich press
-beer
-Waffle House
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what my future has in store. Though, sometimes that gets too deep and my mind will wander and I'll think about belly buttons or tacos, or what kind of mustard goes best with a soft pretzel.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either unwinding at the bar or vegging out at home. Relaxation and fun is the name of the game.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm slowly getting over a fear of heights. I used to freak out sleeping on the top bunk as a kid, but now I can get on the roof to hang Christmas lights with no issues.

you're an easy going person who wants to have some fun with someone new.

If the idea of grabbing a few drinks and talking about life, news, and bad movies sounds appealing, you may be on the right page. Bad puns and witty commentary are a plus.
