I like little adventures. Seeing what's around the corner, ordering the most exotic thing on the menu, listening to a new song, culinary experiments, and weekend trips. I'm looking for someone to share the joy of small adventures with me and maybe even turn me on to some things I never would have thought of before. Of course, I want to have some big adventures, too. Mainly traveling. But life is not all big things. In fact it's mostly small things, everyday.

To that end, I'd love a partner and a friend. Someone to laugh at TV commercials with, go to happy hour with, to enjoy the walk to the grocery store, the explorations in the grocery store, and the alchemy in the kitchen. Someone to take dance classes with or learn how to make cheese with. Someone with an unstoppable sense of humor, intelligence, eclectic interests, and generous friendship.

I'm on this site to date, yes, but also to meet friends or activity partners. So if we're not a "perfect" match, it's OK. Don't be afraid to say hi!

I have a decent professional career going, but I'm still relatively young and haven't "settled" yet. I of course want to excel at my job and advance in my industry, but work/life balance is extremely important to me. Beyond work, I'm trying to experience things I haven't had the chance to before. I've done a little traveling in the past couple of years and want to do more on a regular basis. I'm at the point in my life where I am trying to achieve stability and security at the same time that I fantasize of gallivanting about Europe or owning a summer home in Italy. And I guess I'm searching for someone who wants to indulge in being a dreamer, too, all the while knowing who and where we are.

Books - I like non-fiction like history and geography, or urban planning books. I kind of have a thing for Roman and early medieval history.

Movies - Some of my favorites are Vertigo, Fargo, Black Swan, Donnie Darko, Brazil, Spinal Tap, Top Secret, anything Monty Python, Spaceballs (yes, I love '80s vintage juvenile satire).

Music - I'm a bit of a musician, so I appreciate and learn from a wide range of music. I like anything with soul, but I tend toward R&B, jazz, rock 'n' roll, blues, and anything from New Orleans!

Food - I love food. Mediterranean, Italian, sushi, Thai, Mexican, seafood, Cajun, Creole, home cooking, organic, local wine and beer.

Coffee, guitar, olive oil, beer, laughter, and beauty.

World peace and quantum physics and avant garde art and, and... oh I'm not fooling you. Yeah, I think about sex every twelve seconds.

Hoisting a brew with friends or maybe cooking, listening to tunes, and watching a movie.

I used to have long hair and sideburns, play in a band, and participate in miscellaneous nefarious deeds. In another lifetime of course.

You want some company for happy hour, a hike, a stroll around town, window shopping, bar hopping, wine tasting, daydreaming, people watching, or stand-up comedy practice.
