My Self-Summary

Most of everything about me can be found in what I typed below. Oddly enough, yes, I started at the bottom and worked my way up.

My nationality is Polish as that is where my grandparents and great grandparents came from. I love Star Wars amongst other things such as comics, but I don't let them rule my life. Usually it's computers that do that. I simply can't get enough of tooling around on the net or trying new things on it.

I'm always open to new things. If you have any questions, please feel more then welcome to ask them, no matter what they are.

What I’m doing with my life

I teach Special Education at a public high school and have my own consulting side business called "ANCHOR LEARNING". I just finished with my Masters degree in education at William Paterson and am looking forward to going back for a few more certifications. I've been away from the Fire Department for several months on sabbatical and am anxious to get back into the mix. I used to be on a truck company but am attempting to transfer to an engine company. I'm also in the process of looking for a 2-family house to purchase soon. It's going to take some time, but I know it will be worth it when I find the right place.

I recently got a motorcycle and am having a fabulous time tooling around on it whether it be to work or around town. Hopefully I'll be able to get to Sturgis or Daytona either next year or the year afterwards.

I’m really good at

I'm really good at solving problems of any kind. In particular, it's solving problems dealing with computers and computer programs. I'm also an excellent cook; heck, I even won a chili cook-off. I'm still working on my organizational skills, but they're getting better and better.

The first thing people usually notice about me are my eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite books and movies are Sci-fi such as Star Wars, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Stargate. I'm also into comics such as the aforementioned titles and The Punisher (it's a guilty pleasure). I'm even into anime such as Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Bleach, and Ghost in the Shell or manga such as Gunsmith Cats.

As mentioned before, I LOVE cooking and have been told I'm quite good at it. I love food in general, but some of my favorites are Polish and Mexican. As for music, I'm mostly into things like KISS, but I enjoy classical music such as Chopin. But I enjoy showtunes like my favorite Broadway show, Damn Yankees.

The six things I could never do without

There really is only one thing I can never do without and that is my Chow Chow. I simply do not know what I would ever do or where I would be without my dog.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I spend a lot of time thinking about the future and the past. More specifically, I think about what I've done in the past so I can work more efficiently in the present to come out with better future results.

On a typical Friday night I am

It depends because I spend equal amounts of time on different Friday nights either going out trying to find someone or staying home and relaxing by either reading a book, surfing the net, or playing a video game, after a long work week.
