Some of my favorite moments are the timeless ones spent on the water or hiking through the hills. Life itself is a wonderful reason to be alive. The joy of waking up every morning. Moments of emotional exchange. Sunsets. Rainstorms. Breathing.
I am a gentle, giving, and passionate. Eye contact is important, as is the ability to stay present in the moment...allowing for all sorts of magic to happen: laughing, learning, talking, more laughing, stimulating conversation, delightful silences, reading walking, hiking, enjoying nature and travel, sleeping, laughing, play.
I'm looking for someone to enjoy life with (although all things in their time) to share the nuances of our existence...and find joy in the unusual.
I am a gardener. I enjoy having my fingers in the dirt with little sense of time passing. I like to hike, I have two inflatable kayaks (no fun going alone), to cycle, and whatever else brings me into contact with nature.
I have a few good friends, very good friends. The kind that you have for a lifetime. And I am fortunate that they have circulated around the globe because I have taken some great journeys going to visit them.
I like simplicity, simple lines, simple design. Aesthetics are important. Everywhere I live, work, or garden I pay close attention to space and how it plays with the world around it. And I take this simplicity into my life. I look for the simplest answers to problems, the easiest way to move forward (Occam's razor).
I am not much for practical aspirations. A place to live is nice. A car is convenient. Money is helpful. Insurance is smart. But these things do not drive me and they do not motivate me.
I am committed to growing old with joy and spirit. I have noticed that with my age has come more wisdom and I look forward to more wisdom.
