OK here goes.
I relocated from Miami to Philly at the end of May. I start a new job at the beginning of September. Once I get settled into my new job I'll begin the process of finding a place so that I can move the hell out of BFE Torresdale. The place is a bloody industrial suburban ghetto. I'm still dating but I'm not looking to date anyone new at this immediate time. I'm still looking to make some new friends though. If we have already been corresponding please feel free to keep corresponding. :-)

At work, around strangers, and not so familiar acquaintances I tend to be very quiet and reserved; belting out the occasional sarcastic joke here and there. Some would even go so far as to say I'm stand-offish and aloof. I prefer to form my friendships and relationships through conversations with substance, time, trust, quiet moments as well as LOL ZOMG WTFBBQ moments, and inside snarky jokes. So if you're looking for an extroverted insta-friend just move on.

Strangely enough though when it comes to sex I'm very open minded as well as honest and straight forward. I will always tell you where I stand and I expect the same of my partners. I still see myself as rather unconventional when it comes to my views on sex and relationships. I do not waste my time with cat and mouse or head games but I am at a point in my life where I have become a lot more selective in regards to my partners.

I'm really into music especially classic rock, late 70s punk and goth, 80's new wave, goth and alternative, 90's alternative and Brit pop/rock, electronic, and classical music.
I enjoy reading novels and graphic novels, playing classic video games, watching indie and foreign films, walking about the city, people watching and feeding the animals in the park squares.
I often LOL at things that I find on like 4Chan.org ,YTMND.com, somethingawful.com, and dispair.com because I'm a meanie that way.
The shape of Ginkgo leaves fascinate me.
I want to start taking weekend trips to New York on a regular basis in the near future.
I finally got my blades so now I'll be roller blading along Kelly Park drive *yay*!
I enjoy most cuisine that originates starting from Greece and going further east.

I misspelled sarcastic on my adjectives only because OkCupid claims it wasn't original enough.

The hell if I know....
I suppose I'm planning on going back to college to work towards getting a B.A in a major that can get me into art conservation and preservation. Find a job and/or M.A program in NYC and relocate there.

That, or finish my crappy B.A in interactive design in order to get a lousy though slightly better paying Administrative Assistant job.

I suck at giving advice but I'm a very good listener. I'm also good at giving hugs to those who need it after a hard day.

I can also crack a good sarcastic joke once in a while.

That I always seem to look angry.
I guess they're not use to the facial expression of someone who actually ponders,analyzes,and just generally has stuff going on in their mind. Most people go through life like lemmings who's most critical thoughts are regarding who they're going to vote for on American Idol and how many screeching rage infected crotch monkeys they want to crank out.

I live out of a suitcase at the moment so I've learned to live without a lot of things.

Wondering what the hell I'm doing with my life.

reading,sleeping,listening to music,dicking around on the internet,wondering what the hell I'm doing with my life,laying in bed staring at the ceiling thinking about nothing in particular while listen to my music, trying to draw, writing in my journal, walking around Downtown Philly if I have a ride home or a place to stay, or perhaps going on a date.

I think traditional dating rituals, monogamy, and marriage are overrated. Despite this I still want to find someone who can be my companion as well as my lover. If not until death do us part (which I doubt anyway)at least to be left with fond memories of our time together.

If you have motorized wheels {at least I'm upfront about it} and kitties I can play with.
