My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am guaranteed entertainment. If you don't find me incredibly and undeniably charming, you will at least find me humorous. Also, I have some damn good stories of daring adventure which you will most likely see as unquestionable stupidity, but to each his own.

I've been shot at. Not many people can say that.

People who enjoy good beer and good coffee usually place higher on my list of quality people.

I've got a thing for photography; check it if you want: www.ohdavey.com . At least it'll give you some idea of what I've done with my life.

Also, I bike.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm working at a bar in OTR as a side job. The big thing, however, is the bike delivery company my friend and I started a few months ago. We deliver food (and soon to be anything else) to downtown and OTR. It's something that's desperately needed in the area and I'm glad to be providing the service. Hey, you, it's getting cold. Order food from us.

I also have random musical and photographical ventures on the side. Maybe something will come of those, or not. It's fun either way.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting lost, road trips, picking music that makes you move your feet, logical thought, illogical actions, figuring people out, terrible jokes.

Also, ideas. Sometimes it's really annoying how many good ideas I have. I had the great idea to make a pour-over coffee with half bourbon and half hot water. Not even kidding... potent, but delicious.

I also recently made a skyline chili sushi roll and it was the best thing ever. I'm kind of a genius.

But for real, right now most of my ideas pertain to making communities more self sufficient and more informed of their surroundings. There's a lot of little services that I think people don't realize they need and I'm going to do my best to make it happen. I started with bike delivery but there's so much more coming.

books - Frankenstein, The Song of Fire and Ice series is pretty kick-ass, Lord Jim, Choke, anything from Dostoevsky or Dumas, Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World, and anything on archaeology will pique my interest. Mainly classics with the occasional historical or modern book thrown in.

movies - Anything by the following directors: Terry Gilliam, The Coen Brothers, Kubrick, Nolan, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Kurosawa. All comedies from the 80's and early 90's with very few exceptions. I'm also partial to black comedies: the guard, in Bruges, world's greatest dad, death to Smoochy, adaptation, and god bless America are all top notch.

Things I'm currently listening to - Holy Ghost!, the presets, the stills, jai Paul, FKA twigs, jungle, blood orange, C2C, 80's new wave. If you don't like Tears for Fears I'm not sure we can be friends.

Things I'll always listen to - Ben folds, guster, jimmy eat world, Sufjan Stevens, radiohead, Pedro the lion, minus the bear, Margot and the nuclear so and sos, Lovedrug, justice, kavinsky, Ben kweller, cake, ELO, flaming lips, the format, depeche mode, jamiroquai, the xx.
