I am funny, happy with life, and innovative.
My Self-Summary
I live in South Jersey even though I am not the sterotypical
'Jersey shore' type. Currently I have more free time than I am used
to now being a recent college graduate and am working part-time at
a restaurant. I enjoy movies most, tv next, then magazines/books
last. I enjoy readng, but more articles and smaller blurbs here and
there than actual books even though I did read two in the past few
months.
I don't really drink coffee cause I don't think I need it...but
when I do drink it I prefer the simple Dunkin Donuts Coffee with
cream and sugar. I drink alcohol on more of a social basis and have
fun doing it, even though it kinda died down since I turned 21, but
I still enjoy doing stupid shit as the next person.
There's more about me, but just message me or something if you're
interested.
What I’m doing with my life
Recent college graduate...so...living at home and looking for real
jobs like the majority of america. Trying to pursue an acting
and/or stand-up career at the moment. And I just got a part-time
job at a restaurant...so I'm half-way to being an actor..haha.
While looking for other jobs I am do alot of work around the house
that my parents aren't so good at doing, I'm just glad I have stuff
to do for now to keep me busy. It's a hard comparison since I was
busy 24/7 at school and now it's all over and I am back home and
forgot where to start. Just enjoying the summer while I can I
guess.
I’m really good at
trying new things and being personable. I don't want to regret not
trying things. I want to skydive eventually. I have a bucket
list-it's never too early to have one.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, I enjoy smiling and laughing and thanks to having braces
growing up my smile is pretty darn nice. Ohh, and being sarcastic.
Most people usual get it and enjoy it.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies:
Across the Universe, The Orphanage, 28 Days Later, Wizard of
Oz(classic), Labyrinth, Hot Rod, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings,
Little Miss Sunshine, Eternal Sunshine, Clockwork Orange, Power
Rangers, Cloverfield, The Wrestler, Slumdog Millionaire, V for
Vendetta, Just Friends, High School Musical(guilty), Into the Wild,
Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Most Zombie Movies (Dawn of the Dead,
Shaun of the Dead, Dance of the Dead, etc) ...Basically, I like all
types- scary, comedy, drama, chickflicks, they're all fun.
I Love going to the movie theatre with friends and family, and one
of my few petpeeves in life is when people check their phones
during movies...we pay so much to be there, I wanna make sure I
give my full attention(I actually turn my phone off most
times...lol). Plus movies in general are so much better on the big
screen with surround sound even though its not worth $10 a
ticket!
TV: Whatever is on and catches my attention first, for the most
part, I only follow a few shows- WWE Wrestling, The Office,
Saturday Night Live, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and I
watched the first season of True Blood, but I don't have HBO
anymore :( ... I try and throw in some Disney/Nickelodeon too(I am
a kid when it comes to TV...iCarly, Wizards of Waverly Place,
etc)
Music: Kings of Leon, Beirut, The Kooks, Justin Timberlake, Say
Anything, Paramore, Rihanna, Beyonce, Death Cab for Cutie, The
Decemberists, The Early November, The Fray, Jason Mraz, The Lonely
Island, Vampire Weekend, Anberlin, The Hush Sound, M.I.A., Sia, The
Beatles, Kate Nash, MGMT, Young Love, The Rocket Summer, Klaxons,
Linkin Park(old school more), Modest Mouse, The Killers, and alot
of other random things. I'm more of a song person, than a band
person and usually enjoy the new top 40 song here and there(not so
much rap/country though..unless its just fun)
Food: Love chinese/sushi...and like eating other 'diverse'/cultured
food. I enjoy any chance to get away from the typical
hotdog/cheeseburger.
Other artsy fartsy stuff: I enjoy a select musicals here and
there(Wicked - currently reading the book, Avenue Q, Godspell,
Rent, etc.) and enjoy theatre in general.
The six things I could never do without
Movie theatres, chinese food, the sun, friends, music, and my new
mac! :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Jokes....anything to get a laugh. and serious things like what to
get for dinner or how to spend time wisely...I just got a gym
membership....holler! I lost like 10-15 lbs of college weight over
the summer running and I wanna try and keep up the healthy way of
living by exercising at least every other day.
On a typical Friday night I am
All depends on who's around and who's free. I am totally fine with
spending night alone, catching up on shows I haven't watched in
awhile or cracking open a book....but I usually try and go out
every now and then for some fresh air with a fun group of
buddies...we're already busy with our own new lives..even though I
still visit friends who still go to school and party with them on
occasion to feel young again.
Note: I've never been able to go to the movie theatres or eating at
a restaurant on my own, so I always try to make that an option with
friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Isn't telling people I still watch the Disney and Nickelodeon
channels/or movies bad enough? :) Even though I watch 'Cash Cab'
enough to make up for it.
You should message me if
you want to talk and want to get to know each other more. I enjoy
meeting new people.
