My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I might appear to be jovial and gregarious, but there is a multitude of inquisitive thoughts and a deeply mysterious nature brewing beneath that smiling exterior! Haha.

Simply put, I believe that life is a miraculous event that we are sharing, and I feel that living at this particular point in history is an amazing moment in the human evolution. Let me be clear: I have a deep spiritual resolve that IS the basis for my existence. I believe in God, one God, not a puppet master but an eternal energy manifest in the universe that we are all derived from and intrinsically connected to inextricably. However, don't allow my contemplative and philosophical nature to mislead you into thinking that I don't live in the moment and love to have fun and laugh, because I definitely do! In a nutshell; while I certainly take life very seriously, I don't always take myself seriously ;)

I was raised Greek Orthodox but don't particularly find religion in sync with my thoughts. In my mind, all religions are very similar in nature, and I can certainly respect that. For me, though, all fall a bit short, and I believe everyone has a unique path in life and must figure out what God or life is or isn't for themselves. I'm not one who wishes to promulgate dogma. I also have a background in the sciences which, for me, tends to support everything I believe rather than contradict or disparage it. I truly respect an individual's right to their own belief system whether it is based in religion, science, philosophy, doubt, non-belief, a combination, or otherwise.

I have a deep passion for combining creative and technical thinking in most facets of my life. My background is in landscape design/build and I find it to be extremely rewarding if not arduous at times! I love to come up with a design for clients, install their landscape, and then see the landscape transform over time as plants mature and the homeowners take ownership of the space. It's always an interesting phenomena for me to see the project start in my mind, become manifest by hands, to be relinquished in the end.

I've been back in school pursuing a degree in architecture and just recently graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. For me, it's a continuation of what I've been doing previously and a natural progression. I've always been fascinated with architecture and how it can characterize so many different aspects of civilization, culture, and technology. It's been equally challenging and rewarding being back in school at this age and also humbling. Most of my peers are young enough to be my children, haha.

Two other passions of mine are music and food; I've been a dedicated musician and songwriter for all of my adult life. I have played in bands in the past, and I have no doubt that I will grace a stage again at some point, but recently my priority has been school. I still use music as a very necessary outlet and vehicle of expression. For the most part, my deeper, more pensive, serious side is what comes out in my music. I've played many styles over the years but am mostly playing my acoustic guitar these days. It's just so simple and pure, I love it!

I also love to cook! Again, it's something that I enjoy and find to be therapeutic. I tend to eat pretty healthy, although I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I have done both for extended periods in my life.

I love to be active and, admittedly, can be a bit of a narcissist at times! I've exercised great restraint in not displaying a shirtless selfie of myself in the bathroom mirror lol Jogging, hiking, isometrics, and soccer are particular physical activities that I enjoy. I've done some yoga in the past and am looking to get back into it this summer :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just finished a degree in architecture and back to working with my landscape design/build business while I work on on my portfolio in order to pursue an architecture license.

My family is very important to me and incredibly supportive. I have a niece and nephew who mean the world to me! I don't Facebook and all of my true friends can be counted on one hand ;)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...being sarcastic, laughing, and having engaging conversation! Or those closest to me say I'm a good sh*t talker, haha

I'm more into nonfictional type of reading contained in blogs relating to architecture, music, science, and technology.

Louie, Top Chef, Californication, and Wilfred is a pretty good cross section of the type of TV I enjoy. I tend to gravitate towards dark and sardonic comedy :)

I'm not a big movie person because I hate losing a couple of hours of my life to a crappy movie, haha Some of my favorite movies though would be Eyes Wide Shut, American Beauty, Lost Highway, Fargo, Vanilla Sky, and Pulp Fiction. Guys like David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, and Quentin Tarantino are pretty genius in my mind! Wedding Crashers and Old School are pretty great, too, as far as comedies go.

I have some pretty eclectic tastes when it comes to music. It ranges from John Zorn, Secret Chiefs, NIN, Beck, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Adrian Belew, Robert Fripp, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Buckley, Marc Ribot, Pink Floyd, Zero7, Tina Dico, Sia, so much more!

I cook a lot and generally eat lean protein and veggies to feel my best. I love a good steak! I juice pretty pretty much everyday with some exceptions and you won't see me chugging soda, haha. I am not a picky eater at all, but I don't eat fast food (I don't count Mexican food, that's somewhat of a staple if you live in socal!) unless on a road trip, perhaps. Sushi, Italian, etc. Rack of lamb is probably my favorite meal , though, yum!
