My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a grasshopper.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I am applying to graduate schools for my Master's of neuroscience while working as as the research coordinator for a laboratory at Dalhousie University. I also work part time for the university as a teaching assistant and academic adviser. For the next couple of months I will be rowing with the Dal recreation leagues (for my first time!).

I am pretty busy when you consider how many hours a week I spend working/on research but given that for the most part, I arrange my own work hours, I am always available for lunch or coffee, and can sometimes swing evening activities too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Having identity crises
-Staying up all night
-Watching television
-Loving things
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
-I have a terrible NL accent
-I have a lot of grey hair

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-My water bottle.
-Comedic television shows that keep me going on those really hard days.
-Comfortable and warm boots.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-Why do people behave the way they do?
-What realistic changes can be made in our society that improve quality of living?
-How can I effectively convey my perspective and experiences to other people?
-What is going to happen next in my moderately-immediate future?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not doing anything different than on every other day of the week.

I have never been good at keeping a schedule. I pretty much treat every day of the week like it's a day off, even when it's not.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I appear very laid back and casual about my degree but I will be devastated if I do not get into graduate school.
