I'm in my late twenties and I'm one of those rare people who actually grew up in the Charlotte region. I graduated from Appalachian State with a degree in history and now work in a finance position. I am a Reformed Presbyterian (PCA) and my faith is very important to me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: On the nonfiction side I enjoy historical and religious works. I like reading fiction primarily for escapism and enjoy mysteries and scifi.

Movies: I'm a big fan of a lot of the old classics and enjoy watching the TCM channel.

Music: I enjoy most genres except for rap and heavy metal. I particularly enjoy singer-songwriters types, jazz, and classical.

On a typical Friday night I am

I'm usually at home enjoying a Digiorno's pizza and a cold beer. Being the quiet, introverted type the thought of clubbing or partying has no real appeal to me -- especially if its been a long week. If I do go out its usually for something low-key like dinner with a close friend or two.
