I'm seeking the path of least resistance. I try to put myself in novel situations outside of my comfort zone. I like doing yoga to loud/abrasive/dissonant music. I wanted to be a ninja turtle or a paleontologist when I grew up but that hasn't panned out so well...

What I’m doing with my life

I'm in lol school, and I spend the vast majority of my time studying. During my summers I've been working with environmental non-profits and political campaigns. During my free time I cook, bike, drink, read, and pursue good times with interesting people. Lately I've been racing cyclocross and I hope I never stop.

I’m really good at

Making pancakes, calculating risks, remaining calm, getting lost, truing wheels, playing pretend, dinner parties, charts and graphs, eating, hitting my vibraphone, sleeping on buses, verbally disarming authority figures, biting, high stakes guessing, listening, daydreaming, witty responses, celestial navigation, and forgetting names.

The first things people usually notice about me

In the early spring I'm prematurely wearing shorts when it's still cold out. In the summer I'm still wearing black socks. Autumn means argyle. And throughout the winter my poofy hair cannot be tamed.
