My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Don't take life too seriously - you'll never get out alive!

Camaraderie, the feeling that someone really "gets" me, and some kind of physical chemistry - that's what I'm after. I'm a bit of a nerd, I dance, enjoy a stimulating discussion and understand that sometimes you have to agree to disagree! I'm a bit goofy, I enjoy speculation and imagination, I'm curious about the world and I love to know how things *work*.

I want to find a great friendship which, ideally, will naturally grow into something deeper and long-term. I'm not desperate to get married by some kind of deadline, and I can't stand being constantly in each other's back pocket. But I'd love to have a partner, friend and companion who I can commit to and prioritise, and who will do the same for me.

Drop me a line, and hopefully we can meet in person to see if we really click.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment, doing the things needed to qualify for my next career step.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Public speaking, abstraction, word games, rhythm games (Dance Dance Revolution/Guitar Hero!). My Google-fu is strong!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Sci-fi, fantasy and horror. Loveraft, Vonnegut, Asimov, Heinlein, Terry Pratchet...

TV: Brimstone comes a close second to Battlestar Galactica. The Walking Dead, Archer, Fringe, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Misfits, Community...

Movies: Eternal Sunshine, 2081, anything with zombies, pirates, robots, ninjas or some combination thereof. Explosions are also good. Plus scary movies and the odd kids flick.

Food: I enjoy eating just about everything, from spicy fried cricket to creamy lemon cheesecake and everything in between!

Games: Rhythm and word games of all types, fighters, FPS, RTS and action-RPGs. Minecraft, DOTA, StarCraft, SFIV:AE, Scrabble clones...

Music: from movie soundtracks to industrial rock; hip-hop to happy hardcore and house; classical to dubstep - wherever my mood takes me, there's not much I don't like! Maybe highly-distorted metal, offensive rap and boring country ballads...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Something to read;
the Internet;
something to make or build or fix;
a towel;
the stars at night.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Perhaps we're on our way, perhaps we've gone to far. Perhaps we should slow down, be where we really are.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home playing, learning or watching something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The Dead Island announcement trailer gets me every time ...

every time, dammit!

You know the difference between "serious" and "solemn". You find the world to be a wondrous place. You're honest and energetic and you can surprise me. I like surprises.
