So, uh, hi! I'm not the greatest at describing myself. I'm pretty
sure I love Vegas. There are days when I hate it, like when i'm
stuck in rush hour traffic. I'm in love with the lights of this
city, and that you can find anything and everything at any hour of
the day. Anything you can wish for there is a place.
I have never been one for going out to clubs, I don't dance. I am
pretty sure, that I would hurt myself and any that even looked in
my direction would be maimed. I love renting
movies, even the really
bad movies. I watch them, and
love and hate most of them during any part of the two hours I am
wasting. Going to movies is always fun as well. It's never quite as
fun going alone though, no one to rave or rant about the movie with
after it's done.
I love
spending
time with my friends and family, going to see
weird shows. I will try most
things once. I get a new
tattoo every year but not before I
give blood at
least once! I love going to see
concerts or even
open mic things. I've been to a couple
of vegas
shows, and
wouldn't mind going to more! I waste a lot of time on
WoW. Yes I am that nerd. I
don't care about gear, it getting lost in something for a hour or
so to take my mind off of things. I play
billiards. I'm not good anymore, I
took a year or so off but I can make some really impressive misses!
Someone somewhere always comments on them. Even as bad as I am, I'm
still better than some of my friends, and I hate when an outsider
will see me miss a couple of shots on purpose to save a friend's
ego and call me out on it. I love to
read, I have over 500 books and it's still
growing, sad I know. But when you're broke, you might as well read,
right? I also really like to play
video games... I am a
Nintendo girl all the way,
usually with my
DS, but
in a recent move, I've seemed to have misplaced it. I might cry,
not really though. I have learned the value of the Xbox 360, castle
crashers is a very fun game. The Cat Shark, man, is just to rad for
words. Oh I am trying to make rad mainstream again. Not enough
people use it. I have a tendency to ramble/babble whatever you want
to call it. I kissed the blarney stone, after what I found what
they Irish do it, it warped its affect on me. Usually it's cute and
awkwardly charming, a lot of the time it's just awkward. I've got
two AA's because I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with my
career. Neither one I will ever use. One's a language that I've
forgotten everything but how to cuss in, and the other is business,
I like business but I'm far too shy to network. That might explain
why I am on this site. Everything else I'm having a brain fart on
sooo... Anything else you want to know, just ask!
I've had to update the "you should message me section". I didn't
think I'd have to clarify a few points, it's not craigslist after
all :(
I work, and I work damn hard. I'm trying harder to figure out just
exactly what it is in this world I want and day by day I'm figuring
it out. I'm going to college for a BA in elementary education. Then
I'll be joining Teach for American to get my Masters. I help out
with my mom a lot. She went from being sighted to blind in just a
couple of years. That saying about teaching a old dog new tricks,
not so true. They just take a while... Yes, I just did compare my
mom to a dog but in a good way!
Clue! That's probably not what they meant though.
I love to listen, I'm good at it and giving advice.
The owl on my arm, or my eyes. Hmmm or my hair, or that I'm rather
short.
I'm not sure, why don't you tell me what you notice about me first.
Books- anything by
Christopher Moore! or anything
fiction with a good story, strong, engaging, characters. I just
finished reading
World War Z and it's now one of my
favorite books.
Movies-
Princess Bride now and forever,
Love
Actually,
Brick,
Boondock
Saints,
Coraline, anything
Kevin Smith/View
Askew,
The Fifth Element
Music- I love most
pop punk,
rock,
The Beatles,
The Toadies,
The Vandals,
Cake,
Bad Religion,
Weezer.
Food- I don't do a lot of red meat, but a steak can be nice every
once in a while. I love seafood, especially
sushi, I just learned how to use
chopsticks (sad I know)
Of what it is I need to do that day to make my life easier, at
least easier, next year.
I like to day dream a lot too.
cleaning, yeah... it sounds like a lot of fun.
lol that I'm on here? I'm a open book, I will tell you anything
anyway.
