I am a geek. Learning is better than (most) pie. I like motorcycles and helicopters. I enjoy cooking but not for one, because whenever I try a new recipe I wind up not following it. I enjoy fixing stuff. Gardening drives me nuts when there's a ton of it to do but it's satisfying when the plants survive. I used to teach rollerblading. I like walking at night in the summer. I have awesome.

Learning Dutch (de man en de vrouwen eeten un broodje!). Rocking hard. Enjoying the parts of nature that are near civilization. Attempting to learn formal dances. Observing and assimilating. Playing ping-pong like a boss.

Beginning an analogy to explain something and getting so wrapped up in the analogy that I forget its original purpose. However, the analogies are AWESOME. I like making people laugh.

I'm also a computerist, rollerblader, motorcyclist, amateur cook, skydiving enthusiast, gardener, and fixer of things.

I am TALL. Six-foot three plus the hat and the lifts in my shoes (kidding - or am I?). It's a fantastic trick for getting things off the top shelf. My sister still calls me her "little" brother although the top of her head only reaches my shoulder.

Ender's Game, the entire works of Terry Pratchett, and various one-hit wonders top my list of pleasurable reads. Lee Child and Robert B. Parker make it into the same category as master raconteurs.

Big Bang Theory is a ton of fun and Eureka!, Fringe, and Warehouse 13 make things interesting. How I Met Your Mother is usually a hilariously satirical. Doctor Who, of course, although I'm not up-to-date on the most recent incarnation. Once Upon a Time has sucked me in, especially now that it's on Netflix. Go Netflix!

My fedora survived The Great Hot Tub Incident. There are scars, but by golly it made it.
