>>> I'm not 7'11": I listed a ridiculous height because OKC won't let me leave out height. All of these height expectations simply bum me out. I am average height, taller than most women. I can understand wanting to be close to the same size as your partner - BUT a large percentage of the women out there are requiring someone 4-5 inches above their height so they can still be shorter in heels. Where did the gender equality movement go again? Let's start a movement--if you don't care about height, switch yours to 7'11" too.

I've noticed that many OKC profiles just turn into lists of superficial expectations. I've attempted to remove anything of that nature from my profile. When you do meet that person you're passionate about, many times you end up rethinking or throwing out a lot of those expectations anyway. We should celebrate differences too, you never know what is going to surprise you about a person. Let's see if we have a few things in common at least, and then meet to see if the other parts you can't discover online work out.

Originally from the Toast Capital in eastern Washington, I've now lived in Portland for about 18 years.

I've owned a successful recording studio for the past 16 years and managed to live off music for that whole time. (Some notable people I've worked with are Wilco, and David J (Bauhaus, Love & Rockets).

I'm very interested in alternative & renewable fuels, and although I don't drive much, when I do it is on completely recycled vegetable oil.

I'm a long time ethical vegan, and I do it for resource conservation reasons.

I've also been in bands that tour quite a bit throughout the years so there's a good chance I've actually been to your hometown if it wasn't Portland. (I'm a bass player)

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My mind is a busy place. I'm constantly thinking and dreaming and innovating and wishing I could live forever so I could achieve all of these things.

My favorite technology advancement day dream is teeth cleaning nano robots. I mean how cool would it be to have these tiny little guys that cleaned your teeth as accurately as the dentist every single night. You'd never have to worry about your teeth again!

I like to be social, but many times I have to work weekends too, so it just depends on the friday. I have a completely random work schedule so Fridays don't really mean much to me other than it is a night when more of my friends tend to be out than other nights. If am out and about however, there is a good chance you'll find me at the best spot on Belmont, the new Nest.

I'm named after a suicide that happened in 1966.

My grandma went everywhere on earth, even Antarctica. She wanted a note on her ashes that said she never made it to the moon. I told her, don't worry Grandma, your ashes ARE going to the moon. They are in my safe, ready to do just that, once it's a bit more affordable. I think these private space companies will make that a reality sooner than later.

I've never made it through more than a sip of coffee.

I'm open to a wide variety of types of relationships. I think it's nice to find what works out best for the people involved. I've had successes and failures in several different relationship setups.
