My self-summary
I ride my bike everywhere.

Chef Life.

I dig going into the wilderness and looking for reptiles and amphibians and photographing them.

I'm a bit of a whisk(e)y snob, and a lot of a beer nerd. I'm that guy who waits in line for rare beer releases. I thought about becoming a Cicerone, but I don't like the general public that much.
What I’m doing with my life
Destroying it as quickly as is humanly possible.

But seriously...

Working. Reading. Riding my bike everywhere.

Trying to figure it all out.

Attempting to have adventures. Most times it just ends with me either not having money for adventures or me spending adventure money on booze so that the adventure turns into more of an excursion/day trip/day of reading comics on the couch.
I’m really good at
Cooking, fixing/racing bikes, playing drums, finding edible shit growing all around the city and asking whomever I'm with to eat the random weed/flower/leaf I just snatched, telling offensive jokes (unless they offend you), being a complete asshole while still being among the nicest guys you've ever meet.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, the big holes in my ears, my beard, and the fact that I talk loudly. I have played drums in hardcore and punk bands for years and am slightly deaf from it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Cookbooks, comics, biographies, absurdist fiction, fantasy in the vein of Robert Jordan and J.R.R. Tolkien, stuff about cycling.

Movies: Eighties movies are the shit. I also dig some documentaries.

Shows: King Of The Hill, shows about bars and restaurants, Peep Show, A Bit Of Fry & Laurie, That Mitchell And Webb Look, Doctor Who, Firefly, Game Of Thrones.

I just started watching How I Met Your Mother. Not bad.

Music: Talking Heads, Hella, Arab On Radar, Thee Oh Sees, Coachwhips, Minus The Bear, TV on the Radio, Misfits, Pere Ubu, David Bowie, Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, The Kinks, Queen, The Smiths, The Descendants, Gogol Bordello, NWA, Biggie Smalls, Dungeon Family, Outkast, Cazwell, Die Antwoord, Pendulum, Slayer, Wavves, Alice In Chains, Prince, The Prodigy, Ty Segall, A little bit of this and a lot of that...

Oh yeah, I fucking love Hall and Oates.

Food: I've been trying to eat more healthy foods lately. I need to drop a few pounds before race season. Just don't tell the team manager that I had a Philly at 230 in the morning last night. It can be our little secret, ok?
The six things I could never do without
Smart phone, cigarettes, booze, food, music, bike.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The idea that everything mankind does to find meaning in life is pointless.

Why I've made the choices that I've made, how they will affect me in the long run, and how they often contradict my outlook on life.

Why I couldn't just be 21 forever. Shit was so much easier back then.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually work, and then booze and/or videogames. If I happen to be off, it could be any of a thousand different things. I have this bad habit of staying out until the sun comes up, and then some. I try to avoid that, but it doesn't always work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I get boners just thinking about Stevie Nicks. She is the raddest of the rad.

I fucking love karaoke.

I feel that The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Metallica may be the three most over-rated bands ever.
I’m looking for

  • Ages 21–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You want to. You have to know who David Byrne is. Oh, and please have an adventurous side, but that can't be your only side. If you dig riding bikes all over the place that's awesome. I think that's about it.

Oh, and if you're easily offended, stay away. I'm not your guy.
