My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Collin. I'm not funny and I suck. I'm also a sarcastic dick head.

Moved to Austin in May, 2014. I work until around midnight most nights and a lot of weekends.

Some days I'm playing drinking games and watching dumb shit on the Internet with my roommates. Other times I'm out exploring, going to Mt. Bonnell, Zilker Park, or some awesome drinking establishment. The outdoors are cool.

I also like going to museums and whatnot. I went and saw some of the David Foster Wallace archives at the Harry Ransom Center recently and it blew me away. All the museums and sight-seeing stuff in this town are cool as hell.

I recently quit smoking and have also been eating healthier. Everyone in Austin is beautiful so I'm trying to get on their level. I like to cook.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Designing newspapers, writing stuff about things.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being overly competitive at video games or drinking games or basically any games. Also correcting your grammar. And writing, I guess.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is how unfunny I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
People judge the FUCK out of you based on your musical taste. I'm not as picky as most. I can dig most anything except country music.

Forrest Gump, Magnolia, Apocalypse Now, Field of Dreams, there are so many more but I'm lazy.

Six Feet Under, Dexter, Community, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation The Wire Deadwood How I Met Your Mother]] [Homeland]] [Shameless. I'm probably forgetting something.

As far as books go, there is The Greatest Game Ever Played and The Last Best League. There are a lot more, but I can't think of them right now. I'm constantly reading something on my Kindle.

UPDATE: Recently been getting into classic literature that I should've read when I was younger. Really enjoyed Dracula and Picture of Dorian Gray. Currently going through all the Sherlock Holmes stories.

Food is very expansive, but I've recently become a really big fan of Mediterranean food and LOVE sushi.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Six people to party with.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever's happening. I love sports, film and literature and I think about those a lot. How fucking cool it is that I live in Austin and not lame-ass Illinois.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working, unfortunately. But on the rare occasion where I'm off, I'm probably out drinking with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Giving stand-up comedy a shot is a dream of mine that I may or may not one day have the courage to pursue. I'd like to go to an open-mic night someday and give it a shot, but would likely have to get pretty drunk to actually do it.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to get drunk and play Mario Kart 64. Or find a cool bar at which we can drink beer. Or you want to have a really pretentious conversation about film. Or you can hang with me when talking about sports.
