My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I will never apologize for being nice, or the things I enjoy like movies, television, books, comics, podcasts and pretty much anything that involves pop culture. I'm proud of who I am, and love sharing my interests with others.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in marketing for a large technology company. I love what I do and enjoy my work because it lets me be myself.

I have a core set of friends that I am very close with and am close with my family.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing things. Cracking wise at horrible movies. Remembering the least important detail of the most random stories. And never losing sight of what's important to the people I love.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I look absolutely nothing like our 25th President, William McKinley and that I can make a Simpsons reference out of anything. I mean it. Anything.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Okay, first, no one can possibly fairly define themselves by a few favorite titles. But I follow directions, so here you go: The Wire, Community and 30 Rock, Justified, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Castle, Firefly (all the Joss shows really), Veronica Mars, Archer Venture Brothers Doctor Who Misfits, Spaced, Mr. Show, Bob's Burgers, Louie Fringe, The League, Parks & Rec, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Brooklyn 99, The Mindy Project and Legend of Korra.

My movie list is way too long, but the last fun movie I saw in the theater was Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier and the last great movie on Netflix that I watched was The Raid: Redemption. If I had to pick my top five favorite films it'd be 3 Days of the Condor, Out of Sight, Zero Effect, Reservoir Dogs and Empire Strikes Back. (honorable mention to RoboCop and Hot Fuzz) And, of course I'm like everyone else in that a good documentary on NetFlix can suck me in.

Comics like Saga, Hawkeye], Ultimate Spider-Man (and anything by Bendis), Velvet, Sex Criminals, Thor by Jason Aaron and anything by cartoonists Jason or Dan Clowes and writers Jason Aaron and Garth Ennis. I've started on a bit of an EC kick and picked up the beautiful Wally Wood EC Stories Artist's Edition as well as the Harvey Kurtzman collection Fantagraphics just did. Oh, and Gaiman is doing 7 new issues of Sandman, how awesome is that!

Food; sushi tacos bbq (especially BBQ road trips) .

Oh, and I do listen to a bunch of podcasts like Nerdist, WTF, Dana Gould Hour, Pod F Tompkast, The Dork Forest, Smartest Man In The World, Thrilling Adventure Hour and so forth...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
* Family
* Friends
* Comics
* My Mac
* A leatherbound edition copy of Alan Moore's Watchmen issue 1 script that a friend gave me
* Love...and/or Topo Chico lime...it's an ongoing internal debate for which gets the #6 slot...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
whether an online dating service might be able to help me find someone who also agrees that a double feature of Midnight In Paris and RoboCop just might be the perfect way to spend a Saturday night. Or Love Actually followed by The Transporter. I'm not picky.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If I am not out to dinner with friends, it's watching a movie or catching up on my DVR or working on the comic book stack.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I own Crank: High Voltage on BluRay and am proud of that fact.

That's the funny answer. The real answer is I will do anything I can to help those I love.
