My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a little bit of a hippie and a little bit of an eccentric artist kind of guy. I'm employed full time and when I'm not at work I'm drawing or doing stuff with and for my family. I also enjoy playing music and listening to NPR and KDHX. I listen to the various news shows and such but I also really like the music line up on NPR, particularly "From the Top," "Symphony Cast," and "American Routes" on Saturdays, and "Jazz Unlimited" on Sundays. My favorite show on KDHX is "No Time to Tarry Here." I love telling jokes and am told I have a pretty terrific sense of humor. I like working out. I'm in decent shape, but am motivated to get more fit. Unlike most guys on here, I don't watch sports and don't really like alcohol.

I want to meet someone and take the time to really get to know her. I don't know how much time, but some. I don't want to rush into anything. It's easy, if you like someone and really enjoy her company, to get swept up in that. That can be beautiful and romantic and passionate but still, I think that some restraint is wise. Don't you?

I make art:

I play a little music
I write poetry
I tell jokes and I am witty.
I like to be serious sometimes
and talk about reality and art.

"The ground beneath my feet is nothing but an enormous unfolded newspaper. Sometimes a photograph comes by; it is a nondescript curiosity, and from the flowers there unifomly rises the smell, the good smell, of printer's ink. I heard it said in my youth that the smell of hot bread is intolerable to sick people, but I repeat that the flowers smell of printer's ink. The trees themselves are only more or less interesting minor news items: a fire here, a derailment there. As for the animals, they have long since withdrawn from the commerce of men; with these latter, women now have only episodic relations, that are like shop windows early in the morning when the head window dresser goes out into the street to see the effect of the waves of ribbon, the slots, the wheedling winks of mannequins. "

Andre Breton. From Soluble Fish.

Alice in Wonderland. Haruki. Castenada. tao te ching. Steinbeck. poetry and lots more.

I have a remarkable capacity for not seeing movies.
I like- It's a wonderful life. Apocalypse Now. Monty Python. the Wall. Down by Law. Who framed Roger Rabbit? Horrible Bosses. Babbette's Feast, Wings of Desire, Pan's Labyrinth, Holy Mountain, art films, foreign films, weird stuff, Sci Fi and fantasy and super heroes, though they are often not always great.

TV, well, I don't really turn on my actual tv anymore. But. Doctor Who, Sherlock, Red Dwarf, Simpsons, South Park, Star Trek, Buffy.

Music. I love music and there is something from almost any time and place and genre that I might like, but there is also a lot I hate. I am way not into most main stream pop rap, etc stuff that is all famous right now. and there may be a few where i can admire the musicianship but the vibe of the song I don't like.

But, hey, maybe you will enjoy them.

Food. real, organic, home made, spicy, sweet, wheat seems to upset my tummy, and I just started an experiment of not eating dairy. Which sucks, cause I love cheese. But my digestion ain't what it used to be. Trying to be healthy and fit.
