My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
First off, my name's Will. If you're reading this, then you either like whatever random quote OKC posted from me, my profile pic, or this was the accidental end result of trying to Google information about fruit (You know, "dates". 10 points if you enjoy your jokes hammy, with a side of cheese).

If you want a quick idea of who I am, "liberal redneck nerd that loves guns/chainsaws and hates most country music" does a pretty good job of it. I have no idea what demographic that fits, but there ya go!

Still with me? Haven't run screaming out of the room? Nice! Now we can get a little more descriptive.

To start off with, I'm very much involved with my towns Boy Scout troop as an asst. leader, as well as the BSA in general (Only the good parts, not that discrimination crap), and have worked at a BSA summer camp for three years now. I also did martial arts for about 8 years, as a student as well as an instructor. Honesty and personal respect are huge parts of my life, and I'm looking for someone that those matter to, as well. I think of myself as fairly easy going, and know how to laugh at the little things, such as getting caught on top of a mountain in a hailstorm :p

And yes, I use basic emotes like that a lot. So there.

As for my personal life, I enjoy going camping, fishing, hiking, pretty much anything involving snow, playing video games, relaxing at the local pub/bar, watching movies, and chilling with my friends. I also love just hopping in the car and driving around looking for some random places to have fun at. Hide and seek at Wal-Mart anyone?

Basically, if you are looking for someone that is open minded, honest, loyal, a wee bit hopeless romantic, and has the occasional habit of mixing Skittles into bowls of M&M's just to watch the world burn, shoot me a message and I'm sure I can help you find someone like that.

Wait, no. I mean, shoot me a message, and I'm totally that guy!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I graduated from college at NHTI for Criminal Justice two years ago and I'm currently working as a security officer (no, not a mall cop. More high end stuff) while I look and train for a career as a police officer, with my dream being Fish and Game. While Fish and Game is what I really want to do, if I do end up at a regular police station, I hope to become a school resource officer. I've always loved mentoring kids, and being someone they can look up to and go to if they need help would be awesome.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Martial arts, for one. I don't do it so much for the fighting as I do for the personal growth and self-discipline that comes with it. Although it's been a while since I've done anything with it, I would love to get involved again so if you're into martial arts that's some pretty good brownie points right there. I've done quite a bit of carpentry, so if you need something built I'm your guy. I'm a pretty decent cook, but making good food is something every guy should know how to do so I won't brag about that too much. Pretty much any type of "outdoorsy" stuff you can think of I've done to some degree, so if you want to learn how to snowboard or fish, let me know.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have gray in my hair. Just one spot, right up in the front. It came in when I was 16. No clue why, but if it's a super power I'm gonna be pissed because how lame of a power is that?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Lamb, The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore (I don't care what your beliefs are, read this book). Have a Nice Day! by Mick Foley. Harry Potter series, by J.K. Rowling (I make an awesome butterbeer!). Anything by Brent Weeks.

Movies: Honestly? I just love film in general. Seriously, name a genre and I can probably come up with several films that I enjoy. If you really want some examples, The Man From Earth, Star Wars (original trilogy, not prequels), LoTR, Monty Python/Mel Brooks films, and almost anything from Pixar.

TV: Family Guy, South Park, Boy Meets World, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Sons of Anarchy, Robot Chicken, mostly anything by Joss Whedon, The Daily Show, Archer, The Venture Bros. Also a fan of most anime. Outlaw Star FTW!

Music: Disturbed, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, They Might Be Giants, Miracle of Sound (Nord Mead!), Mumford and Sons, *coughcough*LadyGaga*coughcough*, and pretty much any song that involves the Muppets. I really listen to anything except for most modern country songs.

Food: I'll try anything once. I don't have any diet restrictions, and I love pizza, red meat, and seafood including sushi. Oh, and Arnold Palmer ties with orange soda as the best (non-alcoholic) drinks ever.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1: Family/Friends. Obligatory to start off with and a tad boring maybe, but I truly am thankful for how much they have done for me.
2: Martial arts. I can't really express how much this means to me.
3: Boy Scouts. Yeah, yeah, kind of geeky I know. But the BSA is a huge part of who I am, and I've had some of the best times of my life because of it.
4: Internet. It keeps me connected to the world. Plus the lolz. Never forget the lolz.
5: The outdoors. I could never live in a big city.
6: X-Box. So I'm a video game nerd? So what? It's good to shut your brain off every now and then. It's also how I stay connected to my friends that are serving in the military.
7: Beer. Screw the rules, I'm doing 7 things because beer is awesome. I love all types, and if you enjoy going to a bar with a big beer list and trying all sorts of new kinds, we should get along just fine. If Guinness is your go-to, I will love you forever.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Who keeps track of what they think of?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to take over the world. Unfortunately my partner is an asshole and keeps screwing things up. If I get proof he's doing it on purpose our HR department will be getting a strongly worded letter.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sing in the car. Not just mumbling the words, I mean full blown, top of my lungs, pinky microphone using singing in the car.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you made it through the wall of text that is my profile without falling asleep or breaking something. If you are interested in an adult relationship and are open to going on actual dates. If you're the one who stole my Power Ranger morpher when I was 8, and want to give it back after swooning over my rugged good looks. If you're interested in a man who finds the humor in everything, but will also be serious and mature when it truly counts. If the idea of stuffing a pumpkin with explosives and shooting it with a high-powered rife sounds fun (it is). If you are willing to take a chance and see if maybe I'm the one you're looking for.

Serious about that Power Ranger morpher, though. I want that shit back.
