My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m a walking encyclopedia; but of completely useless knowledge. In fact I’m not allowed to play trivial pursuit anymore; it’s in the bylaws or some such. Yes I can recite the script to the Goonies line for line, but only for birthdays and Flag Day (And Canada is why I’ll never do two shows a night anymore, I won’t.). I’ve been told that I tend to have a sarcastic sense of humor, but I’m pretty sure that just means I’m funnier than everyone else. Yes, I can tell you the meaning of life, but keep your eyes on your own paper.

My name is James. It’s a rare and exotic name, trust me, I know. I’m 33. What’s great about turning 33 is that it seems to be that age that you still like things from your 20’s, but people in their 20’s start calling you old.

My musical tastes range from bands like Tears For Fears (Ive been backstage several times) and Collective Soul to Killswitch Engage and All That Remains and just about everything sideways and in between. I love music, from playing it to writing it to learning completely new instruments. I currently play the guitar, piano, bass, flute and some drums.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’m a bit of a Nerk (that’s a Nerd / Geek combination to the uninitiated.) Right now I’ve got quite a few irons in the fire. I’m currently a patient advocate for dialysis patients and have begun the steps to start a support group and transplant network. Providing “non-traditional” (IE patient centric, not hospital centric) information and insight to patients and their caregivers. I’m also building a new marketing and consulting company (I’m an SEO and SEM – 100 points if you know what that means). Specifically I’ve started helping an old school racing legend make his mark in the performance industry and a few other automotive based clients make their way in the [world (wide web)]. I’ve owned or been part of at least four major marketing firms since starting my own back in 1997, including selling several major internet brands.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
SEO, SEM, Driving, Research, figuring out solutions to problems that people didn’t know they had, video games (even though I rarely, if ever, play), guitar and piano, street light timing (it has to be seen to be believed), working on cars, fishing (use to be pro/am) and listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall, 6'2" and that my clothes are too big on me. Ive lost about 140lbs so far. Its hard to keep up on the clothes so the bigger stuff is still in circulation.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends, between 5pm and 10pm, usually crashed out. Fridays are a looooong day for me. After 10 seeing what friends are still up, trying to get to the hot tub, or just playing on the internet.
