i like to think of all the people who've spent time on this planet before me, and all the people who'll spend time on the planet after me. i think it sorta gives me a more realistic perspective on things, which i think is exactly what i need in order to fill these beautiful boxes out with flair and pizazz!

spider rescue and transport. honestly, there isn't much i wont do in order to rescue a spider, (or any other creature, big or small with a few exceptions), that gets caught up in the teeth of our urban construct. I'm not a hippy or anything, i just think its an easy way to do important work.

i had a funny moment recently while far from home in an east coast airport while watching a documentary about reintegrating a certain lovable killer whale back into the wild. all hell broke loose when the story told that at the end of the day of prep play, our little orca would gather all his new floaty toys together in one corner of his pool to go to sleep for the night. that killed me.
