A Native Washingtonian I love travel, the quintessential adventure junkie with a severe case of wanderlust. I am addicted to a handful of things: flowers, water, music, glitter, hugs, spumoni ice cream, art, pretty girls, pretty boys, and christmas lights. My religion is comprised simply of love. I can explain it, but it'll take me a minute or two and I prefer doing it one-on-one than in summary. Things, in my opinion, should be questioned. My friends say that I'm crazy. Sometimes they're joking. Sometimes they're not. Truthfully, the best way to get to know me is to start talking to me. I'd rather you formulate your own opinion of me than make one for you. Seriously, what fun is that? Unless, of course, you like being bossed around...

I am pensive, intrigued, and fanciful

I'm currently torn between two roads - pursuing my love of nature or pursuing my love of literature and languages in my profession. I love both of these things so much I cannot tell which I love more. Thankfully, they give you a minute to figure it out when you're in college - though I've been trying to decide since I was in junior high. Whatever I choose to do, though, I want to help people with my knowledge. I have even, at times, considered running for president - though I'd prefer not to.

Listening, matchmaking, eating things outside of my diet, getting distracted, avoiding the subject, overreacting, faking it, sneaking out of places, dancing like a fool, spelling, painting, imagining, taking pictures, teaching, learning, and - I've heard - loving.

I've heard several things but none of them are very conclusive. My hair, often, is what does it. One of my friends romantically described it as a "flash of gold amongst the crowd". My grandma says it's my bad posture people notice first. It takes people a long time to notice my breasts. They tend to be distracted by my smile first. Either that or my unusual taste in clothes.

a) I haven't read a book that didn't have something admirable in it somewhere. I could never pick, not really, the books I love best, no matter how big this open-response window can get. I am always open to suggestions, though. I love to read like a fat kid loves cake. I know, I used to be a fat kid.

b) Again with the struggle to choose. Let's see. Memento was fabulous, as was Chicago. I have a soft spot in my heart for Pirates of the Carribean and Lilo & Stitch. I love the James Bond and Indiana Jones films, and grew up quoting Star Wars.

c) Either I hear a song and I like it, or I don't. It's that simple. Like I said, I'm addicted to music. There's not much I don't like.

d) Kraft Easy Mac grew on me. Chocolate pudding, spumoni ice cream, asparagus, salmon, corn on the cob, Ivars' Clams...It'd be easier to list the things that I don't like, like, for example, Green beans, pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, haggis, and marzipan.

Oxygen, water, sunlight, sight, hearing, and touch.

Life, religion, love, sex, money, music, my friends and family, escape, myth and legend, trivia, and politics.

Trying to crank out another post for the several stories I have posted randomly online and mostly started writing as gifts for my friends, online, eating some breed of cookies, in my pyjamas, trying not to be eaten by my cat, who, for some reason, thinks that my keyboard is Public Enemy Number One and will not stand my using it whatsoever.

Exactly how vulnerable I am.

You think that, given what I've already written, it's worth your time to get to know me. If we have anything in common at all. If you have a suggestion for me by way of book, film, or musical talent. If you think about the things I think about and are tired of thinking about them alone.
