Homework on the first day? Ok, gotta get this over with.

My name is David. I'm from Seattle originally and moved to Las Vegas back in 2002. I miss the color green and a cactus is not green, more like a sick, pasty lime color. I love to play video games, can't seem to help it, just something I never grew out of. If you like to play too that's great. It doesn't even matter which ones because I play all kinds. Even my career path is aimed towards games. I also love to read, watch movies, ride motorcycles, play any drinking game you can come up with (I made one for chess) and to travel. I've already toured around Europe a little, Italy FTW, and I'm planning on taking a trip to Japan early next year, probably around march.

I'm looking for a relationship or some new friends. I know I should say I like colorful, quirky girls, or intellectual, nerdy girls but in reality, I'm sure everyone has something special to offer. I'd prefer a girl who has the same interests as me but it's not at all a requirement. In fact, I'd love a girl with different hobbies who will push me out of my comfort zone. If you like dancing, ask me to dance with you. I might say I don't want to, even though sometimes I actually do, but at the end of the night I know I'll be glad I went, even if it was just because I was with you.

I'm currently pursuing a bachelors in computer science with a minor in japanese. I want to get a job in the gaming industry as either a programmer or someone in creative development. As of now I work nights for a transportation company contracted by McCarran Airport as a maintenance technician. It's a job that's slowly strangling my soul from behind with some fiber wire but when I stop showing up they stop paying me (they're like Nazis!!) I have a promotion looming that should make things a little better, instead of being strangled, it'll just be a swift kick to the gonads every time I clock in. Don't let all these negative words fool you though, I love my job............. like how an oncologist loves cancer.

Cooking. As long as I'm not in a rush. Most of the time I have to leave for work in a half hour and all the sudden a thought occurs to me, I'm hungry. Then my delicious french toast and sausage tastes like I cooked it off my exhaust pipe. I'll be damned if it still didn't look good though and the smoke alarm only went off once............. alright twice....... jesus ok, it went off three times, what do you want? A cookie? The burner was on high what do you expect?

I'm quiet. I become more outgoing with people I'm more familiar with but I've always had a more subdued, shy personality with people I just meet. I've also been told I look like Drama from Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. If that's the first thing you notice, then it's true. I am him............. What's up?

Books: The Millennium Trilogy, Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code, The Lost Symbol, Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Ender's Game and pretty much most anything I haven't read yet.

Movies: Going to the movies is one of my favorite things to do, not for the actual movie, I just want that damn popcorn. Would you like butter? Hell yeah I want butter. Keep pumping it till I say stop.......brb I gotta pee. Some of my favorites are V for Vendetta, The Matrix (only #1), The Dark Knight, The Last Samurai, The Losers, Super Troopers, Euro Trip, Mallrats, Fired Up and anything James Cameron directs. Titanic too? Yeah, I stand by what I said.

Shows: Stand-Up comedy, House, The Big Bang Theory, Archer, Two and a Half Men, Scrubs, Hells Kitchen, Bones, Breaking Bad, UFC, Family Guy, American Dad, anime.

Music: Anything but most heavy metal and country. Seriously, I don't know how those guys scream into the microphone or how wannabe cowboys sing about beating their wives and drinking whiskey and then go around calling it music.

Food: I love chinese food but if I had to pick a favorite, I'd have to say tacos. They're just too damn delicious and even easy to make too.

Time travel, probably too much. What I'll be having for dinner, it's an important topic that requires extensive thought. Oh and that scene from the movie 21 where he has to choose between door number 1, 2, or 3 to win a new car. I've got that one figured out, message me if you want to know.

Unfortunately working. I work overnights, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. On Monday and Tuesday nights, however, I'm usually at home doing any one of the things that I like to do that I mentioned above. If my friends want to go out and do something I'm always up for that, or is it down, directional slang eludes me, but it's never my idea. Left to my own devices I prefer a night at home more than going out.

My ringtone is the victory fanfare from final fantasy VII. It's private because nobody knows I was nerdy enough to custom make it for myself.
